um well at the time i had to fix my current problems, i was getting a new radiator, and new headgaskets with all new belts and some other stuff im not sure about... now im just going to mess around with the inside and get it to where i want it...

WERD - Home of Houston Toyota Club - 100+ members and growing. We used to meet every week but that was only practicle for the first year. We also had a Texas Toyota meet last april in Austin (around 250 cars!!!!)

Yeah - occasionally (MSP?). We are in the process of reorganizing the club and starting a GO/SHOW/AUDIO Team.
The club just got to big and drama ruled in the end. It will be much better and hopefully drama proof this time.

i understand celicaGT96, i'm in th rio grande valley (south) and i only know of one other 6g that's somewhat paid due attention to.

I'm going to San Antonio some time in January to pick up an engine, And in april I'm going again and would like to do it again.

but where ever is cool as long as it's within about 300 miles-I'll be up for a road trip as long as my car is running

Alright guys, my brother in law owns a quiznos in Richardson, Texas. I asked him if i could have a celica meet there considering he has NSX meets there all the time. He said he would have no problem with it. The meet would be the last weekend of January. If anyone is interested in comming let me know before i make the meet final. ... BUT, I will not have my car I am re-doing the whole fuel system, and upgrading the turbo on the 7AFTE, ect,ect...
I am going to go in my brothers SS truck because while I am in San Antonio I am taking delivery of a 3SGTE ...
I'll still go though just no celica,

I am going again in April to visit family for a week-but if it's too hot I'm not going to take my car (no A/C -unless my girl can get a ride with someone else in my family thats going to San Antonio too )

suggestion - people north of SA like myself we could all meet at the Prime Outlet in San Marcos (http://www.primeoutlets.com/cntrdefault.asp?cntrid=1042) at a certain time then all drive together and since the Safari is before we reach SA downton city limits - we can drive through there for some wild life fun -- people down south could meet up with us - or if time allows we can drive some more to houston - since houston is a big attraction for import tuners

Austin gets my vote, since it is a little more centrally located (not to mention that it's a bit closer for me...). However, San Antonio would be ok too, since I used to live there. If you need a few suggestions for a San Antonio location, let me know, as I used to do the car shows there with my old 'Cuda.

New Braunfels might also be a place to consider, since it's a bit further north from SA. There is also a Toyota dealership right on I35, located at the southern end of San Marcos (just past the outlet mall). Perhaps they would be interested in hosting a gathering.

I'm in. Can I bring members from HTC? They are not all 6gc's but alot of 7th gens and really cool people. We also have alot of other Toyota's.
I love the idea of SA. Our sister club SATC which is all 7th gens is there so I will have a place to crash for the night.

Wrong. Saynug had a ST185 RC swap that I helped him with but the car is now dead. Poor guy he hand swapped that thing himself and then all of a sudden one night - that's it no more Celica.
I was this close to having my Caldina swap but I got into some money issues and had to sell the clip.

Back to topic:
I propose we do it on April 1st - the anniversary of the first annual Texas Toyota meet. Maybe we can actually keep this thing going. SA would be a good place and the riverwalk has descent parking and attractions.
