That was a really good idea. I thought that the forced induction section was always there for a second.

Since there is a forced induction topic shouldn't there be a NA topic?

There was only one place before - now there are two places due to the fact that older F/I posts will be in the E/T/M forum.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

If you mean since the site started, you are the man. That must have taken DAYS.

Haha I wish. I moved all the threads that were visible on the forums. If I attempted that I'd still be doing it.

While I appreciate the effort, I am not sure what the benefit is to having this new forum. Forced induction topics were discussed prior to the new forum. People knew where to find the information. The only real problem that the forum had was a lack of knowledgable people. You can't change that by adding a forum.

In addition, its not like our number of users supports two forums for engine related material. Actually, the lower usage of each of the forums may very well lead to less usership due to slower updates and new material. The more forums you have, the less they will be updated. The less they are updated, the less people need to go to the website to check it out. Thats one of the problems with celicatech.com. They have a lot of cool forums but no USERSHIP or at least not enough users to support the number of forums.

The other down side is that now I am going to have to run a search in each forum to complete my research. Why?

I am not sure why I am sharing this because I realize that the site wont change back. However, you asked for opinions. In sum, I see no positives and two negatives.

I think it's much better. While I appreciate the simplicity of this forum, adding an F/I forum was a great idea. As time goes by more and more F/I threads will stack up here and it'll be great for reference.

jay ...good point about celicatech. im currenty trying to get them to slim down the forums so that it dosnt spread people out the way it has.

as far as this site goes. i agree with jay that having a new forum is not always a good idea for a small site like this.... but i think it was done with the hope that it helps generate tech talk or to give the turbo guys their own little section to hang out in . we will see how it goes.

I noticed something, On the Main Forum Page. At the top it says "6G Celicas Forums Announcement:" and everything that shows up on that spot are new posts in the FI forum. It doesn't seem like a 6gc forum announcement as much as a FI announcement.
