What do you guys use to pull a 7A-FE? There's one hook near the throttle body, but there's not one on the front of the block. I'm just wondering what you guys have used to pull the engine.

DO NOT hook a chain up to the coolant neck!

You can use either the alternator bracket, or just grab a hook off another engine and bolt it in there, there is a place for it.

I ran a rope around the front (pulley side) engine mount to the hook so that I could swing it easier. But I don't know...

get urself an engine hoist and use the hole at the end of one of the hoist and attach a bolt through it than bolt that on to the front of the engine on the top left.
