The only difference between Mcpherson and SS is bottom part of the shock. I think that GT4 has different spring rates apart from NA group. TRD fits the same springs for AT200,202,203,204. 202- Beams.

If this for real, then TRD is the only option i think... Can someone confirm this what TRD springs fit to beams? Cuz even i looked at some TRD springs but i could not find anything mentioned for beams....

Hey doGGy
I'm pretty sure there is spring made for the SS-III,
but most of them are in Japan.
If that is ok with you I'll find some for ya

I'm pretty sure the perches and such are all different also... otherwise aftermarket pillow ball top mounts would all be the same. In essence, Super Struts run totoally different springs.

romas: GT4 and SSIII should be able to interchange springs. The GT4's srping rates might be a bit stiff... but that's OK...

I'd suggest that wouldn't be OK at all.

There are springs available, but I suspect you're going to to have to ship them from Japan. Or get them custom made.

I might know someone who knows about this. Let me get back to you.

I want to confirm that Cusco pillow ball strut mounts that ment to fit ST205 and other SS models will fit on MCpherson strut. So the top is identical. I have them and its straight foward fit.

I think TRD would be the only widely available good choice. In New Zealand, apparently you can get Jamex and Kings springs for superstrut Celicas but those are not as good as TRD.

Doggy why you are asking for springs only??There must be a difference also in the spring between a Macpherson and Superstrut shock beacuse many owners in Cyprus replace springs on Superstrut and the car it is taller than before at front,at rear its lowered ok.
Doggy if you can get good prices for a complete coilover kit try to go with this option.
I took a ride maikls SSIII with Tein Type HA and i couldnt believe the amazing handling of that car.For me springs it is not a serious job on the suspension (i v done this before and now i know),at least for my car.
In japan they doing something else, they buying TRD Superstrut shocks and they use a soft spring beacuse the TRD shock it is hard by nature if you dont want to go for a complete coilover kit.
You have both Celica Hyper Rev magazines?

Magic - mostly im aiming for looks, i dont go to track, i ride everyday, so i dont want somthing Super Special.... This is why im only searching for Springs... I know if i aimed my car for full performance - i would get Coilover setup... but another issue is $, i dont want to spend my arm, leg, and left nut on this stupid SS suspension stuff.....
