Might be able to get a set of used 16" rims form a 2000 GT-S, pretty sure they are a perfect match at 5x100 with a 38 offset. These are used without major curb rash and for a good price. I know they'll look better than my 14" hubcap wheels on my 94 ST. Anyone think I should hold out and pick up used 17"?

True, i've seen a few people have them on here. There was a white 6th gen coupe on here with them.. i forget who it was..he had the HIRO or TRD Celica's with the body kit's in his sig..oh well what I am saying is for the low price you can get them for, they look sweet. A lot better than hubcaps biggrin.gif

Looks like around $325 U.S. for the wheels + tires. Wheels are in excellent condition no visible curb rash. Tires only have about 35-40% life according to owner. I may get a second opinion from a tire guy. Looked on tirerack.com a set of 205/50 R16 go for about $75 on up. Obviously would like to have more tire wear, but I belive the guy is giivng my a decent price for the wheels.

Finally picked them up, happy about the look, would be sweeter with a 1.5" drop.

Hey they look really good, but then you can't get much better than a white 6gc with 16 inch rims biggrin.gif

i had those same rims with a 1.5 drop but it didnt look so good so i sold them. I think it was because my car was black. Im now going for the 5th gen 5 spoke rims or the slipstream gunmetal with polished lip. Hopefully it'll look better...also with a 2.5 drop it should look sweet.

biggrin.gif That's all neophile's work... now that I see what it looks like, I'm going to save up and get those skirts, and maybe the matching front lip skirt. But first I'll drop the car 1.5" with eibach sports, and get new front shocks and struts.

struts and shocks are essentially the same thing.

strut = housing for the shock cartridge

i'd get konis. more $$, but well worth it.
