I thought your car floated on water, or I it shot water from the muffler, or from the top or something. tongue.gif

wouldn't the term be "Hydroplaning" not "HydroLock".. Hydro planing is when you are driving on a layer of water, not the road, making it a little more difficult to control. Hydro lock is when you get a lot of water in your cylinders that cant be combusted. No?

Hydrolocking is when you get water in your engine, most commonly through your air intake system. Perhaps you meant to say you drifted on a sharp turn or hydroplane'd?...

I have done this also.. My car's hood had water over it and when I opened my hood from a safe place my Ram air Filter was half soaked..... I didn't hydro lock nor did I even hurt the car. Goes to show how good a celicas engine really can be. Thanks again Toyota biggrin.gif

EDIT: Oh but I did seafloam the plugs redface.gif

Just a lil tidbit for those that may get confused, the term aquaplane may also be used, which means the same thing as hydroplane in this context.
