Alright I keep hearing people say "hose from hell" but I have no idea what that exact hose is. All I could find from searching is that it's behind the downpipe. Anyone want to fill me in?

the "hose from hell" and the "hose from hell on earth" as theyre so lovingly known, are the oil cooler water hoses.
because theyre right behind the super hot turbo and manifold, even with the heatsheilds and heatwrap on them from the factory they tend to get brittle and go bad as they get old, usually recomended to change them around 100K over on mr2oc wink.gif

i didnt do mine during the swap.. then i was tempted to do it again when i was installing my downpipe over the summper. had the oil cooler off and everything, and that thing was still a bitch to get to. i left it alone cause it looked like i was in ok shape. lol
