DCW Custom Ducktail Spoiler, New pics and information 2/17/06 Options

Hey everyone. I am gauging interest on the custom ducktail spoiler that Romas made a while back. A lot of people expressed interest in his thread, and I'm asking you to express your interest here too. I am able to obtain a specific number of these if the interest is there. It would also be cheaper and more effient to do this project around this time or soon based on rates, schedules, and so forth. I would be having all of the items shipped to my house first then shipped out to make things easier to maintain and keep track of. No, this is not a gb yet so please do not bombard me with questions. The pricing is going to be $160 shipped. Does this arouse anyones interest? I personally think this spoiler is extremly awesome and want one for myself. Here are some pics

i took my stock one off cuz it was too "big" for me... and that was pretty small.

not only would it not look good, it would not work. If you look at the contour of the trunk lid, the duck tail spoiler sits where any other spoiler sits. sooo, if it sits where the regular spoiler would sit, you couldn't really put two spolers in the same place now could you?

if you already have a spoiler and someone was creative
a "stud" could be made into the bottom of the lip spoiler that would go right into a stock spoiler hole location and bolt down....

i like this idea, current design in pics doesnt seem like it would cover all my holes. would like to see it extend to cover the holes if possible (not sure if this is final design or up for suggestions) because i dont want to weld them shut because i might want to put stock wing back on later. put me down as highly interested either way though. all money being saved now is going to 7afte project but i figure these gb's take a while to get rolling

I'm just amazed. Shortly after removing my spoiler yesterday I looked at the car and thought to myself "this thing would look awesome if the semi-lip on the back of the hatch came out a little more and had a bit more curve to it." Kind of like a 98-02 SS Camaro spoiler. And here we have it.

A low flush spoiler that Bomex made for the MK3 and MKIV Supras. It gives so much more flow to the already sexy curves of the Supra. The Celica wouldn't be different I think. I hated it at first but now I love it.

i mean id love to have a wing like that, just that im saving for an engine swap cuz money doesnt fly in too much for me and well 130 is a reasonable price its just not in the range for me, see i think motor comes first........though id love one

Glued to the hatch either with 2 side tape or Glass glue (rubber type)

i can imagine doggy going crazy with a chain saw and hammer. he would say : "I label this peice of work 'the gettos', I actually used an authentic shopping cart for the side paint treatments." lol

The silver celi had a two toned top paint job I believe, but none the less it was a simple 7afe with a turbo... The SS-III that he now has is bone stock white for now

Hey everyone. I spoke to Romas and he said it would be $140 per wing shipped. The price may go down some according to shipping charges. We would need atleast 10 people to even think about this as reality. The production time would solely depend on DCW's other engagements and availability

No, he can make this one in a gb or something if that is what people want.... His new ss-iii will be at car shows with his old celi and he wants to have a different wing than the old 7a.... So he is creating another one at his leisure time.... If people want this one, just post that you do, and once DCW has free time Romas will let people know more about things. Got it? Also please do not bombard Doggy with PM's please either post your question or PM me and I will contact him at some point.

im on the interested list already when we will see the final design? or are pics of it already finalized? i love the look, but im hesitant to shave the holes because i also like my 3 post. as it is now, it wont cover the holes.
