Ok so I started my new Job today getting paid a low wage of $6.75 at Toys R Us.
Its very easy and all I do is ring up items and put stuff back where they belong.
Simple part time work. Hopefully I will have enough to buy an old school MR2, or a WRX clip to swap into this Legacy that Im about to pick up for free from a friend.

Swap the 2.0 turbo into an older RS. It's supposed to have a stronger transmition, and they're smaller.

there is a federal minimum wage and each state has to vote on whether or not to adopt it or not. THe majority of state do use the federal min wage, but there are states that have higher/lower than the federal rate. And then there are some that have no min wage at all.

Federal min wage right now is: $5.15
Here is WA, we have a higer than federal: $7.35
in AR where hes from, the have the federal min wage.

edit: Just thought id add in these cool facts, WA has the higest all state min wage for the country. CA state wide is $6.50, but special ordinace in San Fran allows it to have $8.50. Not counting the states that have no min wage, the lowest is Kansas at $2.65. Now that would suck...

Im hoping to get a MK1 MR2 as well. I want to drive the crap out of the 4age in it, and when if finally goes, swap in a 20v

I got paid $5.15 when I was at a pizza place in high school back in the day, and that was minimum wage in Kansas. I don't think your source is up to date.

Thats what I thought too, but they have been in business for 2 years now ever since they posted a going out of business sign. Heck I could care less as long as they pay me, the work is simple, good health benefits and 10% discount on all purchase. Im gonna get myself a 360 and could even save close to 40-50 dollars!

I agree, 5.15 is definitely the Kansas minimum wage. Depending on where you work in Kansas you'll start at anywhere from 6.00-7.50 on the average I think. I don't know anyone who's actually just made minimum wage.

5.15 has been the min wage here since I was in junior high. It had to have been at least 6 years ago. With the average inflation rate at 2.7% (a year), and that's been higher here recently, it should have gone up.

EDIT: Edit was the (a year) thing, for better understanding.
