Today, I picked up my turbo. I'm very excited. It's a Garrett Super 60. However, the one I have is a T3/T4 Super 60. I dont know which side is T3 and which side is T4 but the silver snail looking piece says "A/R .60 M11". And on the dark piece that connects to the mani and downpipe says "3" and ".48" somewhere right inside the flange opening. The thing is, I wanted this to be a straight T3 Super 60. Is there any way to convert this to a straight T3? If not, then can someone please post up the compressor map of the T3/T4 Super 60? I can't find it anywhere. I only find the one for the straight T3. How will this turbo do on my little 1.8? Thanks.

That doesn't sound like a T3/T4 to me, it sounds just like a T3 Super 60 with a .48 a/r on the turbine side (which is good).

A T3/T4 is typically a turbo with a T3 turbine and a T4 compressor. However, the compressor you listed is a T3. Why did you think you had a T3/T4?

#1) why don't you read wat your buying before you buy it? thats just being a poor consumer.......

#2) T3 would be exhaust side(hot) T04e would be intake side (cold)

#3) If you wanted a T3 super 60 why did you take the T3/T4 ?

#4) don't try and convert anything, take it back and get the right turbo....be a SMART consumer READ wat your taking before you take it

T3/T04 DOES NOT BELONG ON A 1.8L CELICA

It's not a T3/T4, I'm not sure why he thinks that. It's a T3 super 60. .48 turbine .60 compressor, M11 housing (T3). At least, it should be. If you take off the compressor housing and measure the inducer wheel you'll know for sure. It should be 1.900". What did you pay for it?

You would only want a T3/T4 if you were planning on running a lot of boost, in the area of 20-25 psi, then it would be the one you want.

Thanks DOC! You hear that Player??? It's a T3 SUPER 60. Ahhh, that sounds so good to me. Lol. I'm J/K. Thanks for the input guys. I just wanted to be sure and be on the safe side. I woulda kept it either way, got a great price on it. I was confused because it's listed as 2 different things:
http://www.mjmturbos.com/T3Super60stage3.htm
http://www.mjmturbos.com/Super60.htm
and i was told it was a t3/t4. so i figured it was the one on the bottom. but yeah, it's good to hear it's a straight t3. wooo. im such a smart consumer. cant wait to put this sh!t on the celi!
*hey, is that a honda up there...(super60 kicks in)... vrrrmmmm, psssssshhh... hey, that's a nice honda back there...*
wow, im too excited. lol. later.

man im going to have to agree with player. after reading this, it still doesnt seem you did all the research before you bought a turbo. im predicting a flood of posts during your install. you would have kept it anyway just because you got a good price on it? dont you care about the performance, or just thats its a 7afte regardless? you should have been a little more patient researching and shopping. good luck with it though!

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

^mods, please remove that negative post. lol. j/k. you guys get so serious man. i woulda kept it because i got a good price on it. i didnt say i would keep it and still put it on the 7afe if it wasnt going to be effective. if it woulda been a t3t4, then i woulda given it to my bro so he could put it on his tC or something. i did research. thanks for your input tho.
