Hi 6gc'ers,
I've been stalking this forum for about a month and it rock!, don't have pictures or anything to upload just yet.
My gf take my car out sometimes well a couple of weeks ago while reversing she smack the car on the side walk mad.gif and made a hole with a 2cm crack on the back bumper kit kindasad.gif , as i've notice the crack is expanding, its now around 5cm. What do i do to stop it from exanding, or is she constantly crashing the same spot over n over.
Thanks guys

You killed me with that line tongue.gif
Nice to see another Aussie on here smile.gif

If she is crashing the same spot over and over.
Maybe you should let it be, until the rear bumper
falls off. Then get her to buy you another one.

Use fiberglass cloth with epoxy on the back side. Sand the surface so the epoxy sticks. Any good hobby shop will sell small pieces of fiberglass and small tubes of epoxy. After you have it structuraly sound you can use thicked epoxy to fill in the outside (thinkened with microballons). Bondo will crack if it flexes and body putty will shrink if you use too much of it.

Microballoons are just like what they are called, little air filled spheres that make it easier to sand while thickening it so it doesn't sag during curing. System three epoxy has a really good manual that you can download that explains how to use epoxy, fillers, and fiberglass. West system also has good information: http://www.westsystem.com/
