I would go namebrand like Tien, Eibach, H&R, etc. Check out the Parts Database on this site and happy hunting.

IMO id go TRD. There a little more expensive, but again, thats my own opinion.
The TRD lowering springs will run u about $250 for a set of 4 from the dealer. -------------------- ![]() Kawi Love |

Yeah, and not sure if there are any Springs that go that low. You may need coilovers like Ground Control or Dropzone. I think Ground Control is the best. |

i believe its said that sportlines or maybe its prolines drop the celica 2 inches, but there has been no physical proof. (ie pictures showing the difference)

You should look at the Tanabe DF210... Its got a 2.2 inch drop in the front, and a 1.5 drop in the back. Heres the site. They arent too badly priced.

Ok ok, lowering springs, coilovers.....sooooo i worded the topic heading a little to specific! lol Starting Over. What do you guys believe to be the best lowering springs/ coilovers for the 6th generation Celica. And yes i am looking for a 2 in drop front and rear. so that basicly rules out lowering springs. So ya..... coilovers!

2 inches is real low... i believe the eibach sportline lowering springs do a damned fine job at a 1.5 inch drop though if you do decide that 2 inches is too low. Not sure though, still looking into it myself.

I ended up with about a 1/4 in. gap in the wheel well. They make it drive real nice and looks really good |

i dont understand how springs made for a 1.5in drop can achieve a 2in drop... The math just doesnt add up. Im curious to see these, im still deciding b/t the s. techs, and the eibach sportlines.

the s-techs and sportlines are both nice
the intrax will come much closer to 2" drop on just springs and i have a set of aerospeed coilovers that i used to achieve nearly 3" worth of drop but i have coustoe's car right now which is on sportlines...and sports a 2" drop with about 1/4" gap |

is it really wise to go with lowering springs on stock struts?? and say you needed to raise your car back up for winter, and also didnt want to sacrifice much ride quality for a lower stance. are you better off with those TRD springs?

ive tried many suspension setups. First was eibach sportline, which did the job on the stock shocks and gr-2s after, but didnt achieve the lowering height i wanted. I switched to tein s-tech when they first came out and the drop was 1.2 which was crap when i put on my stock tires. It was a bit stiff on the gr-2's. After a while i switched to JIC SA's which sagged on me, but gave me a noticeable difference in ride height. The ride quality came very close to stock quality. in the end, i am currently using the gc setup with the gr-2's which with bushings, did improve my ride more than ever. Its smooth, yet u can still tell taht your in a toyota and not a mercedes. If anyone has any further questions, feel free to PM me. BTW im looking for someone to trade my ground controls for intrax sports. PM if interested. Thanks

I dunno about coil overs. I heard bad things about em because most people dont use proper set-ups and they just use the coil overs. I think im gonna go with intrax springs and go for as close to 2 in as possible. I can always heat em up to compress em if i wana go lower. Prolly go with kyb shocks
