 Problem with driver door power lock. Video inside! |

When I tried to close my driver side door today it made a really annoying noise. The lock works however it makes a really strange noise. The lock also feels very tight like it is frozen but my passenger side feels totally different. I almost end up bending the key trying to turn it. I tried lubricating the lock but it didnt not make much of a difference.

i never heard that sound before do you have an after market alram ?

thats pretty funny and odd
i would take off the door trim ...when u turn the key, i think a little motor unlocks the door...sounds like something is wrong with yours. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

No I dont have an aftermarket alarm. Everything is stock. Someone suggested it is the door lock actuator.

mine did that too because it was crossed accidentally with the indoor lighting. it only works properly when i set the center top light switch to "off" instead of "door". wierd...
