Apparently you've never tried drifting. It's fun for intertainment. I don't know what he means by lifter hood either though.

its supposed to increase cooling doing that,
not a fan of it though. id rather use a cooling additive if i wanted to be 2% cooler.
just throws the body lines off.

So the idea is that because drifters dont nessisaraly drive fast the wind is not blowing though the engine compartment as well and the fan is not enough too cool the motor as its usualy at high rev burning the tires, so lifting the hood allows more air to blow though the bay and help keep the motor cool

eh, if it works seems like an extra fast fan or more then one fan would be plenty and yeah lifting the hood takes from the looks but its just drifting looks are really apart of it.

there are 4 bolts that hold the hood to the hinge

take 1 out go to home depo find a longer bolt that will accomidate the amount of space you want to insert...

find thick washers the appropriate size
insert bolt into hinge, inster washers on bolt inbetween hing and hood tighten hood down

I used 8mm x 40mm bolts and used two 1 inch nylon spacers that were cut in half. Gave me a half inch lift, which looks pretty nice. High enough to notice, but not high enough to look stupid.
