I would like to see who needs um. I have already offered these to
someone, if he wants them. If not I will give them for shipping only
to whoever is the most deserving. Plead ur case here.

I have sent 5 emails to the guy who made the mistake and shipped
me 2 sets. I haven't got a reply.

I don't know who should get them. I'll think on it and get back to you. I certainly wouldn't mind them, but I'd feel bad nominating myself. Just don't give them to some girl just because she's a girl. We've all got to be nice to girls, but come on, half to draw the line somewere.

Me, because I had to sell my old ones for money because I'm broke. frown.gif *pity pity* I lost my job. I have sh-tty credit at only 18. I had a miscarriage. I'm in a huge fight with my fiance. I'm a fatass. I'm depressed, and I want to spend my entire day in bed. There's more, but I already look pathetic enough.

PSH at not giving them to a girl.

I won't resell them. frown.gif

Congrats on being a very good person!

bloodrain's profile says he's getting dropzones soon. I don't believe it's fair if he's just going to upgrade in a bit.

EDIT: I promiss a how-to write up if I get them. With lots of pictures.

either jen or bloodrain have my vote. i've met bloodrain before, cool guy, and have talked to jen, cool chick. im pretty sure either of them will put them to good use. and bloodrain has pretty much given away parts that he replaced, like his hood and the bumper.

I want them, but I'm going to go ahead and concede. If there was a pole and I lost, my feelings would be hurt too much, I’m sensitive. Besides, I'd rather keep stock height and just put some sway bars on. Best of luck to all the others, I won’t be voting because I fear it’s going to be a popularity contest. If something goes wrong, I'd still like to have them, but that's it for me now.

no offence, but...

I don't think anyone should nominate themselves

Randy is don't something cool here and I think the most deserving person should get them. The best way to determine is to have someone be nominated by other members of the community.

I second TheStreeztKing
here's why...

He joined the site and 2 weeks later he went to his first meet. Didn't know anyone, asked a lot of questions, got his ballz busted a bit, and after all, he is TheStreetzKing

Here is my reason for picking the streetzking.

Without even knowing who he was I place a phone call to him asking if he could dig around a local Junk yard for mounts. I needed these mounts asap. This guy That minute went out and found me the parts I have searching months for. He did this without even knowing me. Then sent them out I dont think I ever payed for the mounts come to think of it. I think I still owe him money. LOL to this day he's never mentioned it.

Then again I was in a jam during my swap. We called him 6 in the morning to go back to the junkyard for more parts. Once we were able to wake him up he went back to the yard for me. Still didnt know him at the time.

I met him shortly after that, and I am endebted to him for what he has done

He is a really good person, I think he deserves these springs.
Whenever you need something, you call him. And he'll be there.

Thats my reason for choosing him.

Thestreetzking 2006 !

A popularity contest I do not want. I hope everyone can be biased and
decide this soley on merit. The guy I offered them to likes this idea, so
I guess this a go. Please no bashing, positive comments only.

I personally think anyone selfish enough to self-nominate doesn't deserve these. It is very kind of you to give them away... and there's only one person who does deserve them... however, there's a catch with my nomination. Allow him to sell it if need be to recover losses.

We all know about the string of bad luck our very own Christan Coomer has had... so why not give them to him... and allow him to do with them as he wishes? He's the reason we're all here... he's given us this fantastic site and these awesome forums, why not? His situation isn't the best at the moment, and if you've read up... there's no one more deserving. Let him keep them or sell them or whatever he wants... cause who knows. Maybe he needs money more than suspension...

Anyways... my 2 cents.

Some of you just don't get it, do you?

He wants to give them to the person who has made the most difference at 6GC. Could I use some teins? Sure. Do I deserve them? No. I haven't really done anything to better the site.

I say give them to Dustin (Batman722). He's a really great guy, he's always helping people out on the fourms, and he's always willing to give a hand to a fellow member. A few weeks back, I was searching the fourms for a How-to for installing a new starter. I noticed a post where he said he's replaced his twice. I PM'd him and asked for a few tips and he wrote me a detailed How-to with many pics. I later had the starter installed by a garage due to lack of time and tools, but at least I knew what I was talking about when I spoke with my mechanic.

Reason why: When I was in Auto tech school I was forced to spend my 'fixing up my ride' money on living expenses due to my managers decision to give my job to one of her neighbors (I was a warehouse worker that got replaced by an entry level community college professor ::shakes head:smile.gif so yea.. hook ME up biggrin.gif

thanks for the nods guys, believe me, I would love the have them but i also think there are some other deserving members here.

How about this...

either
the nomination/vote/poll idea
or
we bid, the winning bid is donated towards the site (Coomer) for upgrade/maintenance/tools wink.gif
or
we raffle them off, say $5 per "ticket" all proceeds are donated towards the site...

ideas ?

In this scenario, Christian takes the win all the way.... We owe him everything that goes on here... without him there is no 6gc community plan and simple

list:

Coomer
Bulldog
Jen
bloodrain
snapshotgt
streetzking
wannabegt4
Batman722

I said I wanted off the list. I didn't mean to nominate myself, but I guess I did. I don't think it's right. And it doesn't matter, because I just want off the list. I appreciate what your doing, it's a very nice thing to do, only nominated people should even be given a shot though.

Since Coomer is the most deserving person, it would be cool to do the raffle thing, and donate all the money to him. I'd buy a few tickets lol.

I like the raffle Idea too and no one comes off with hurt feelings that way.
I could actually hand deliver these to coom and let him run the sale. I haven't even
opened the box.

Thanks Randy for being so generous, and thanks everyone for wanting to help me out, but really, I have no use for these springs and I don't know what I'd do with them. If anyone's going to sell them or raffle them off it should be Randy. It wouldn't be fair if I got something for free and made money off of it. Thanks though. smile.gif

the fairest way to do a raffle would be to set a date for a powerball
lottery drawing, sell the same amount of #s as powerballs and whoever
has the powerball # wins. The winner would be able to resell them or whatever
but all procedes from the raffle would go to 6gc.net.

How to Play Powerball

Powerball is a lotto game which is a combined large jackpot game and a cash game. Every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, we draw five white balls out of a drum with 55 balls and one red ball out of a drum with 42 red balls.

ok you sell 42 numbers corisponding with the 42 red balls (not to be confused with
blueballs which I already have and don't want, like the teins.)
If everyone agrees I think this is the fairest way.

If you sold 42 #s at $5.00 that would raise $210.00 for the site.

Aren't these springs like $150? Seems like you could make more money for the site if you raffled them off.

If there was a raffle for em I would buy a ticket if it supported the site, even though I dont need em, then If I won I would give em away somehow. or raffle em again smile.gif

so having a ticket drawing for em would probably gain more money then just selling em right out.

aww Nate, thank you- I've got springs though- and I'm def not as helpful as some people on the site. smile.gif

Personally i think we should vote on this or something- we are going to end up with like 12 pages of I nominate- blah blah blah because blah blah blah ect...

Another thing- i don't think people should be pleading their case- They should get nominated- a reason why - and someone seconds the nomination and that's how you get on the list- once a list is formed Randy can make a poll and then we vote. - also if its a poll you wont know who voted for who so no hard feelings. Know what i mean? Someone back me up on this so i dont feel like i just wasted 5 min typing.

This thread is going to get more confusing then it already is.

mmk, that's all.

Ok back to the giveaway. Coom didn't want them, Bigmeanbulldog didn't
want to self nominate. Don't worry about a donation to the site I will
handle that with the keychain GB. Some one that deserves them is
getting free springs. Less shipping.

I will start it tonight when I get home if nothing has changed.
In case everyone hasn't figured it out yet. The guy I originally
offered them to is Batman722. I think he is most deserving
of them in my opinion. I kind of cut his answer to me short
by posting this thread for that I appologize. I personally think
he would win if we had a poll. Or we could spare everyone
the pain and suffering and I could just give them to him.
