I saw this turbo charger on Ebay and I was wondering what it would take to put it in. I know it doesnt push very much but I dont want to overload my engine. What parts would be needed and would I be able to do this myself. Also what does it hook up to? Here is a link to the turbocharger Garret Turbo Charger

That's too small for your GT.
There are quite a few threads on how to turbo a 5SFE... just do a search for 5SFTE. For one, you're going to need a custom manifold. Then intercooler and piping. All the plumbing for the turbo. Plus fuel upgrades, and then you need a way to tune it. -Doc -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |
