i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

I think it looks great. I am surprised you don't like it. $30,000 new car with a warranty and 400 hp and agressive styling seems pretty damn good.

They gata stop destroying classic car names frown.gif

looks like a hotwheel, what happen to creating good looking cars, everything coming out nowadays looks like someone spend 20 min on a computer to come up with a design, no more drawing it out on a paper towel and perfecting it on a scetch pad before a computer is ever brought into the picture.

QUOTE
Fugly caddy

yup

Also I hate that most motor companies are making there cars to look like there custum, cars off the show room I would perfer to look like stock basic, nothing crazy, leave the custum work to thoes who can do it right.

How on earth could someone think the last model of the camaro was a "classic" is beyond me. There hasn't been a camaro that looked this good since the early 70's.

Hell yes.

They are, the red concept was done considering that Chevy was using the Zeta chassis then they flopped and are using another aussie made chassis and leaving the Zeta for the Chevelle. Also the El Camino is suppose to return based on the next Holden Ute design and the next GTO is suppose to actually look like a GTO. Either way this concept is ok but it's to much like the Vette and if Dodge changes the Challenger concept someone needs to punch the CEO in the back of the head, especially if they make another joke like the Charger "family sedan".

I agree that it's much better but it's definately not too low. Look at any newer corvette, those things are friggin slammed straight from the factory. It's not a sedan we're talkin about here...

Dustin, where are the pics of the second concept?

Theres GM for ya, bringing up the caboose of the big 3 for bringing back classic muscle in a classic/new style. At least they didnt mess it up horribly like they did with the GTO. I like it, except the bowtie is kinda ugly in its placement and needs to be rethunk.

I agree. Dodge rules concept cars, and more of theirs go into production. I remember the Charger concept like 3-4 years before it actually came out. The Challenger looks almost just like the original.

They may have more going into production but who knows the Charger looked pretty cool until Dodge decided they needed a place to put the groceries and kids, the Charger is nothing more than a new Intrepid. IMO they should have left the Charger dead, it derserves better than a family sedan and even the SRT-8 isn't worth it, spend a little more and get the new Z06, can't beat a $60,000 car that walked on a 600hp Ford GT and the new Viper Coupe.
