I got hit around 12:30 Tuesday Morning the 24th, I dont know the full details of the situation yet, because it is also still under full investigation. Apparently so how the story goes so far is that I made a left down a street, a Trans-Am was following me, I turned left into a driveway and he hit me. I was rushed to the ER to the best hospital in Portland, and was in a state of Coma for about 7hours. I spent Wensday night in the hospital recovering and Was let home today Thrusday the 26th around noon. I suffered bleeding in my brain, lots of brusies, and massive neck/back trama. I still dont know the full story, but I am sure this about as close as it gets till the investigation is closed.

I am really just depressed right now about everything, it just makes things just so much harder after I have just faced a big loss in my life. I just got my drop kit installed on Sunday, and Just got my 19"s last Thrusday. Mean while in the tow yard someone got into my car and stole most of my stereo equictment, so that just added to it all. So between losing my baby and loosing my car life cant get much worse.

I only have liablity insurence so depending on what happens I might be completely scewed but who knows yet, I am in the market for another 6gc tho, I cant stop now...

wow, that looks hardcore, im glad your recovering. I think the quickest way for you to make money so you can get a new 6gc, is if you keep this one and part it out, keep your rims too, goodluck with everything, hope you recover quickly.

I hope you feel better, good luck... This also makes me wonder, with over 4,000 people on 6gc, how many of them do you guys think have died in an auto accident(if any). Cause with most people, we'd never know they were gone.
sorry if that's kinda morbid

frown.gif man...sorry to hear about that...i had many scenario(s) where i could have died a long time ago, but i've been fortunate enough to escape with some bruises here and there...if it makes you feel any better, i was in 3 major recks...

first one was with my 1986 GT-S toyo celica>>> i was driving on a raining day on december and rushing myself to get to a STUDY GROUP SESSION b/c finals for me was that night after...well, as i was going...it started to slightly rain and suddenly....huge drops started pouring. some dumb guy thought he can make a cut from the slow lane towards the fast lane, but lost control, slid and hit smack into me...i was in a real deep hole; my car flip and so did i....i sustain some minor injuries, but my car could never recover again.

second: My dad's new tocoma 2004...driving on the freeway and all of a sudden, my dad's driver side tire blew and i ended up drifting side-ways and did a two tumble summer-sault in the air and landed upright...my dad was really happy with me...car was totaled...

Third [almost inciddent]: lastly, my newly bought 94` celica; just happened two days ago from tonight's date...going home from UCR on 60 west FWY when a big semi-truck decided to change lanes. He sped upseing back and forth and successfully made the switch, but over here...it was super windythat day...cargo as i watch the truck started then it started leaning towards my side of the lane [i was on the far left lane; fast lane] and i just thought "SH*T!" floored my celica and barely made it by 1-2 ft from the distance where the truck actually flip over...saved by a thread...other wise i wouldn't be here....tongue.gif

don't feel too bad...cheer up! you can always fix your car, but for your life-line, there's only one chance to live and no chance to fix it back... wink.gif

Man, you recovered from being in a coma, and despite what you have done with the car, it is only a car, and much less important than the fact that you are still alive to tell us the story! Hope you make a 100% recovery.

It hurts to see thoes pics and read that post man, I hope that you end up getting enough money out of it to replace what was taken from ya, (and then some maybe.)

Hope you get a full recovery. remember take as many days off to get better (physicly and mentaly) as you can.

look at the good side, your alive and wile the car did not make it, it can be replaced, that feeling of joy driving down the street will return.

remember. car is just a material. wat matters is that you're alrite. whoever hit you will pay for it. sue him for watever damages he cause. just take good care of yourself and i'm sure when everything's settled you'll be in another celi better than ever.

Sheesh that looks bad. So sorry to see that. Hope you get back to perfect health soon. The car can be replaced even better than before. Not to sound like a vulture but you should get a lawyer soon to make sure you will be taken care of.

I agree with that. If he hit you your gonna want to get the full replacement cost. I would look up the bluebook price and cost of mods and keep that in mind.

Well im feeling better but still not close to 100% percent yet. almost 2 weeks later and still super sore and have a decent headache. There has been some new turn of events tho, the cop that came to the accident came to my work and gave me tickets for it, careless driving + inproper left hand turn, so thats just great.... I also went to the Tow yard and they refuse to take any responsablitly for my stolen stereo, so guess who's not gonna get paid. Also in the police report it says we were street racing, I dont even have to explain why celica's dont race. So as it looks, it looks really Sh*ty might or might not get paid out, have a huge medical bill, which come to find out if they dont pay for it, I wasnt covered by my insurence at the time, so things cant get much worse.
