My friend bought a 94 st with a blown engine, we are trying to track down a new engine for him for cheep, will an obd2 engine be the same since we are only changing the long block?? Im pretty sure any 7afe should be a direct swap since we are not changing tranny or any performance upgrades.

yes the obd2 engine will be the same and will work. you will need to swap over the everything such as the distributor and intake maniford, wire hoses.. ect.
