None of us really know do we???? We keep hearing< "i heard they fit" There are thousands of totaled 7th gens in the junkyard. Somebody go pull off one rotor and one caliper. If the caliper has a mounting bracket, pull that off too. Why hasn't anybody done this? I cant find a 7th gen-thats my excuse. Somebody do this please. Lets solve this once and for all. We all benefit.

im with madmods, no 7th gens at the local junkyard aside from nix99 which is the kind of expensive place insurance companies go to.

I can't find any totaled ones here either. I think the front will fit but the back wont because of there emergancy break. Its different then our 6 gens emergancy break. But someone needs to do it and let us know.

i dont want to put a dampen on things but i seriously doubt that they will fit. My boy had some Number one crossed drilled rotors, and they accidentally shipped them out for a 6th gen, the car he was trying to put them on was a 7th gen. He said the did not fit correctly. I may be wrong but wouldnt ours fit on the 7th gen if theirs could fit on ours?

my neighbor has two 7th gens, but i doubt he'll let me take it apart to see if they work on my 6th gen...
but otherwise, i'd be down for trying the front and rear. it should only take about an hour or less. btw, how much bigger are the 7th gen rotors? and how many pistons do the calipers have? -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

What's the point? Is this for the ST guys or what?
I've worked on many GT and GTS 7th Gens and their brakes are nothing special. I never checked but if their rotors are bigger it's not by much. I just don't see the point except for a source for ST guys to get better brakes. -------------------- ![]() |

If the 7th gen breaks fit then the big break kits for the 7th gen fit on the 6th gen. Thats what everyone is wanting BIG BREAKS -------------------- ![]() |

Then wouldn't it have made a certain amount of sense to post the intent in the original thread starter? If that doesn't occur then wouldn't my question following that make perfect sense for someone who wasn't part of your inside information? Why do you always feel the need to come across like that in your posts? Did you not get enough hugs as a child or do you just feel superior because "MY CAR has more SWAPS then yours"?
