I think the only thing that could be harmed is tire wear. However, if there are rings available for your rim, you SHOULD use them. In my case, there were not. There are some tips to use if you can't get them for your rims. Let me know if you need some suggestions. Why do you want to run without them?

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

What is this? You're not talking about balancing weights, I'm pretty sure. I'm not familar with hubcentric rings.

They are very basic. They are rings that fit inside your wheels that fit them perfect on the hub like an OEM wheels fits. You will be fine without hub rings. It would be minimal wearing on the tire.

That's it? If your lugs line up strate and tight, I'd see no reason for these. I've never even considered such a thing on a car. I guess it is kind of useful though.

They are important and, for $20 per set, its silly not to get them if it saves ANY tire wear. People sometimes report wheel wobble without them. I don't have any though.

you can install your rims without them ...but they are a good idea to have. my steering wheel would shake on the highway without them. once i installed them, the shaking went away.

so, dont worry and just put your rims on, but order the rings anyway and install them when you get them
