it adjust the amount of fuel going to the engine. to add hp. burns more fuel at once. adjust from 20 to 80 psi.

An adjustable fuel pressure regulator allows you to adjust the fuel pressure. Manny is correct that increasing the fuel pressure by itself will not result in performance gains. It does, however, allow you to get more fuel out of smaller injectors thereby allowing you to reach higher horsepower numbers IF YOU HAVE THE SUPPORTING MODIFICATIONS TO DO SO. -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

well i know all that but i just need to know how to hook it up......see i just thought more fuel flowing through would help out mabey 5-10 hp. but would it help a little by pumping more fuel to be burnt there fore igniting hotter and burning faster......but what ever

If you don't change anything but the fuel pressure you will likely lose power. You would for sure on a forced induction application but I am not sure for N/A.
