I am starting to work on my car. I have access to a heated garage and "every tool known to man". No lift though mad.gif . Here is wishlist I would like to complete one day. Which of the jobs would you or did you start with?

I would go with body work.
Thats if the car is in rough condition exterior wise.

body is in not bad condition except for a wrinkle in the driver's fender and surface rust at the inside-bottom of the doors (latch end).

All of the mods you've listed you dont really need a workshop for.
Plus they dont take that much time to do/install.
If you got access to the workshop, and they can do your body work for
cheap. I would go that route.
It will probably be wise to sort out that rust as well, before it gets worse.

Get on the rust first. I guess I can't really pick one, because you can complete a few of those at once. Do the body work first. Fix the wrinkle and the rust, and then paint if you need it. Then it all depends on what is more important to you,

Looks
Performance(Engine) [ha, if thats what we call it]
Performance(Suspension)
Sound System

Which ever is more important to you then go that route.

i voted lowering springs because it will be an easy beginning modification, takes about 2 hours max total cost of about 230$ including alignment (depending on spring choice i gave 60$ for alignment and 170$ for actual springs). it will change the overall look of the vehicle giving an agressive stance and will give you a greatly increased amount of control/handling

i think we have a winner!
unless you park your car in a garage wink.gif
then i would say get on the rust.
once it starts, its VERY hard to stop.

don't want one ...don't need one. secure garage at work, no advertising (decals, etc), all removable items will be listed on riders in my insurance policy, quiet neighbourhood and low crime rate. WHAT A COUNTRY!!!

2 Hours?? Maybe if you have help or you have done lowering springs on a Celi before. Also, you can run into tool problems like I did or those damn sway bar end links. I would be embarrassed to tell you how long it took me...but I had never done suspension work before.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I read it real quick and for some reason I saw:

"Spring is coming and I feel the need to get Naked"
