Arospeed also doesn't make one for the GT either does HP. Arospeed said "Check back next month after the movie comes out". Well, if 2F2F gets me a header for me car, then I'm sure as hell seeing it.

I also got an e-mail from them, saying their header listed on their website is discontinued for the Celica. Which we all know it is. My diagnostic: It is extremely unlikely Arospeed will re-continue their header for the Toyota Celica, it's not worth it to rely on them.

if you REALLY want one, call around to muffler shops and ask them if they do custom headers. Or ask if they know someone who did. I called around the local Chicago area last weekend, best price I found: $800 when I gave up

So it fit's exact?? I just want to unbolt and bolt up. I did it w/ my 'rolla i had and had a nice sound and little hp added, could have been just 'cause i didn't have that crack the size of my veins in my arms in the manifold too.

I have heard of a couple 5th genners that bolted it on themselves, but i had to have a muffler shop enlarge a bolt hole for it to fit on.

After that it comes off easily.

I know of 2 companies that make headers for the 5sfe in Australia. Hurricane and Genie.
I have the Genie header and it cost me .... I forgot but I posted it before so maybe try doing a search. A picture can be found

here

The header bolts straight up no probs.

GENIE PERFORMANCE MAKES ONE AND IT COSTS $370 USD. IM THINKING BOUT GETTING ONE EVERY ELSE IT HAS BEEN 500 TO 700 DOLLORS FOR ONE.
HOPE THAT HELPS U OUT IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO FIND ONE BUT IM SURE IT WILL BE WORTH IT. THE ONLY DRAW BACK TO THIS HEADER IS THAT IT COMES IN AN UGLY BLUE.

There's a place in San Diego, CA that makes them for about $250. But with the old adage "you get what you pay for", the company makes crappy headers. Like Hyper said, expect to pay around a grand for good quality custom headers.

DC SPORTS Ceramic or Chrome Header 4-2-1
94-99 Toyota Celica
$170
Check out:
http://www.kr-merchandise.com/krracing/dcs...portheader.html

Whether they have them in stock is another question.

BTW: These would be for the GT model (NOT the ST).

I may have found a solution for all us 7AFE ST'ers.
I'm currently looking into matching up a set of corolla headers (OBX, Powertech, Matrix, Forza, DC Sports) with a corolla high flow cat. (OBX, ...).
I know that the corolla headers are too short for the celica, however, I think that the high flow cat's are too long.

Not sure of my measurements at the moment, but I'll keep you posted.

i have the obx header on my corolla, those are for the STs not the GTs, atleast telling from the pictures up top. And it just says 94-99 celica but my guess is the ST 'cause they also have the 93-97 corolla 1.8s listed.

I live in Sydney so I didnt have to wait long to get it in the shop. The header is mandrel bent that comes in a blue colour. The guy that installed the header said that it wouldnt do too much to performance. You wouldnt feel it too much when driving, but it will show up on the dyno kind of thing. It sounds heaps better though with the full exhaust done now and a K&N pod filter in. I got it because I have itchy fingers and just wanted to spend money on the car. If you have any tech questions about it I can call up Genie for you and try and get some answers for anyone that wants to know about it. I think hyperdeathkill is interested in the header as well.

Tea I called genie two days ago. The header is made for the st184, which is the 5th Gen GT running the 3s-fe engine. The fittiment is practically the same, so any 3s-fe header would also work. Pacesetter makes a 3sfe header, and all that is required is to take it to an exhaust shop, and have them make this one hole a little bit bigger. Or so I'm told. Neither are ceramic coated, just painted. But if you want to get it ceramic coated, you can talk to Hotshot racing, or jethot, they do ceramic coating.

So, I call the guy from kr motorsports to find out what the deal was with the header for the gt about 3 days ago. On their website they supposedly have a header made by DC motorsports for the 5sfe for 170.00. First of all, you could tell this guy was really lovin his job (not). He was acting like he was looking something up and then gets back on the phone and after giving me the run around said that they don't make them yet but will start to in september. They will be 259.00 what kind of false advertising is that!?

Here's a pic of the HKS header - they were on a 3SGE SSIII that was for auction in Japan a while ago. Unfortunately I don't know if they are available for other engines, or if these would bolt onto the USDM engines.

3sgte, 3sfe ,3sge and 5sfe exhaust manifolds should all bolt up to one and other.

That oil filter must ba a killer to change.
