Colour is not decided, kinda leaning towards some variation on silver

Paul, I have seen some of your interior, and I have to say I am vey impressed. The supra was completely
mind-blowing. I want the same setup, but I can get rid of my ac unit and vents due to the heat out here.

Where did you relocate them? I have 2 decks right, a alpine 801 with a flip out screen and a dvd player under it. I would like to add a navagational system under it(3units in the deck), but the ac system is in the way. Have any pics?

Im curious about the actual long thick cable. How did you change that. The wiring should be pretty easy, or should I say the extending.

I got all kinds of pics at home. I have gone through many body changes, and doing one last rebody.
Theres a cable that connects to the ac unit as well as the eclectrical plugs. I got to take a pic and show you.
We got to have the same ac unit. Im just curious where you got a longer cable. I think its the cable that slides the knob from red to blue.

Like the location of the fuel cap. I seen in a import magazine this celica's fuel cap was behind the drivers side tail light. The tail light opened from the turn side and slid around and the gas cap was right behind it.. it was pretty tight.

Very nice Paul. I have seen that version of temp controls on ebay. Nice mod of the gas cap. I once saw, pics on this site somewhere, some person run his exhaust where your gas cap is coming from. He's also from the uk.

Dude, you are making one big mistake preparing the car for a paint job not even reasembling it..... I cant even look... If you want a quality job done - remove EVERYTHING (yes EVERYTHING) out from the body, and cut the damn rear windows, cuz Clearcoat after paintjob will start to peal off after time cuz there is no chance to make the paintjob perfect around the windows area... And these word go from a man who repainted his car 4 times, and did 2 full paintjobs on other 2 celicas.....

Everything else is quite unique wink.gif

Car cannot be completely stripped as we are having to work on it around paying customers and sometimes it has to live outside... however it will be totally stripped prior to paint... i want to build the car up so i can definately make sure i have the look right then it'll be stripped and prepped for paint...

Paul

...door kit was sold as autoloc but i don't think solenoids are... they are 45lb pull and do the job really well...

Filler cap is just an off the shelf motorsport cap with a 90 degree bend pipe on other side and a custom fuel pipe is being fabricated that will then go through boot floor and connect to tank.... not a mod that alot of people are gonna do as you are left with no boot space but as we are filling the boot with audio anyway we weren't that concerned

Thanks guys... to be hones this car was only mean't to be a quick bodykit and spray job then out on the road advertising my company.... its no so far gone past that i don't know where i am gonna end up going with it but i know i'm gonna have alot of original parts left over:)

Filler relocation is straight forward if you can live with losing boot space... just need to fab a smetal pipe that will go through the boot floor and then a rubber pipe to connect to tank...

Well we have had a long hard look at the progress we have made so far and decided that we haven't gone far enough with the work... as a company we wanna push ourselves as far as we can...

So we are starting from scratch... watch this space

Still no pics yet...

I can tell you that the car will have no air con, no heating system, no washer bottle or windscreen wipers, no sunroof, no side windows and possibly no steering wheel:)

Made a decision to build a car with no compromise which also means that it isn't gonna be able to pass our MOT test laws so she will be purely a show piece

Fair comment....

Problem i'm up against is that i own a company that specialise in doing this... thus if i do just an off the shelf bodykit and stock interior then my company will be judged on that...
The car was always going to be an excercise in how far we could push ourselves, unfortunately some of the technical mods we want to do will mean it'll never be road legal...

Expect the next car we build to be fully road legal as this one will have proved its point... and showed what a great flexible car the gen 6 is...

At the minute we plan to fabricate everything so it should turn out pretty unique...

Anybody want anymore info on anything they see on the car just pm me and i'll be happy to tell you how to do it

The piece you circled will all be contoured and smoothed to match as no side glass will be put back in...

Rear window is still in tailgate... all windows are bonded in so its a case of feeding a wire through the bond and slicing through the bonding...

Do you plan on rienforcing the car after removing the b pillar? if not I hope you dont plan on driving it on the road. That is really sacrificing the integrity of the car in a roll over or side impact. The car will crumble like a piece of paper supported only by the a and c pillars

Here ya go... business is starting to pick up so we may have to make some compromises on the original ideas or put off showing the car till next year.. me i would rather compromise now and add to it with a revised version later..

How did you get Mexicans all the way to England? biggrin.gif

Just kidding, guys. tongue.gif Anyway, that is some awesome work you got there. Just seeing the pictures, I got overwhelmed. That is beyond anything custom I have ever seen. I wish you luck in that project. Saddens me that it will not be street legal. I mean, who could own a masterpiece and not be able to drive it? That's why mine is staying street legal. Anyway, that dash threw me off a lot...hopefully in your next pictures, I can see more light, hehe.
