Well, i had this idea floating around long time ago (and i got this Idea from Chris Coomer wink.gif he was the first one with the single Shfter gauge pod ), when i still had my ST. Now it became reality.
I have 10 of the first product made right now, and pretty soon these will be availible for everyone, right now im only waiting for the leather shop to finish up all the shift boots.

It supports 2 52mm gauges, will be painted with structurical paint to match the graines and color of the stock black plastic. Fitting it will be just like 2x2, im supplieng special 2 side adhesive fabric tape with can be reused 100 times - so removing / placing it back will be easy.

Here are sneek peek pics of the actuall product - in these pics the color of the pods is different so dont mind it still smile.gif Finished product will be just like stock plastic.

Later on the run these pods will be availible along with DCW leather shifter knobs, same black leather/red stiching (btw - shifter boots are from natural leather).

Price is still not fully set - but as for now i can say what these will be around 80-100$ shipped along with the shift boot.

Thanks,
Romas

nice work romas, they look very clean, i could definetly see a use for them for gauges you dont have a need to constantly monitor, like water temp or somthing to that effect.

wink.gif This pod is made for "Second choise" gauges, for all others - im working on A-pillar triple gauge pod witch will fully replace you whole pillar instead of ADD ON. And it will be somthing more like this pod i made for WRX.

Very nice work... smile.gif

Any chance you'd be making one w/just one hole for a gauge? ---> like a oil pressure gauge? Do you have any other options for a single gauge thing like that?

thanks,

snapshotgt

edit: I know you can buy single pod pillers...but man, your work is sweeeeeet! biggrin.gif good stuff thumbsup.gif

Romas did you ever think about doing a 60mm 3 gauge pillar to expand our choice on just the Lotek 52mm?

Or is that Apillar 60mm?

Yes Eric i thought about this... Might even try to make 60mm A-pillar pod, and include 3 60>52mm spacers for people with smaller gauges.

No at all - in the pics - shifter is about 30% shorter then stock, and hands aint hitting the gauges.

But the guage where the shifter should be the same, shouldnt it?
Damn I want those guage holders on the A-pillar.
How hard will it be to design it from LHD to RHD Romas?

Shifter is totaly different. And it is for LHD only.

A-Pillar - same. it will be very hard, actually totaly from scratch work to make the LHD Pillar fit on RHD (i mean gauge pillar smile.gif )

lol. knew you were RHD. tongue.gif and since the centre console does point towards the driver, LHD would be the complete opposite to RHD.. i think?

are you getting the boots made by someone? would it be possible to do the stitching in blue?

Yes, once i start the production - boots will be availible in all the posible colors. Same with the shift knobs. You will be able to chose Leather color / stiching color.

i dont care who makes it, but that would be an awsome addition to the interior. let me know when somebody stats to make these!

QUOTE(doGGy @ Mar 7, 2006 - 5:29 PM)

Thanks,
Romas

Romas what did you do with the 10products you have produced already? i will buy one!

actually i did nothing with them - they are just collecting dust in one of my shelfs. The thing is - tha ti never had time to figure out how to mount these in the place - and double side tape doest helps much in this place... So this is why i never let them on sale - exept one guy in US has one - cuz he said its ok for him and that he would figure out the fitment issue by him self.

Is there a way you can design something for the center console where you can fit an Apexi SAFC-II?

X2! I didn't even think about that...and nowhere to put mine. Damn. Anyways, I'll buy the panel replacement, but won't be needing a boot. Red's not my theme. Should we start a list, or is it a bit too soon!? I'm excited!

nice work romas, they look very clean, i could definetly see a use for them for gauges you dont have a need to constantly monitor, like water temp or somthing to that effect.

wink.gif This pod is made for "Second choise" gauges, for all others - im working on A-pillar triple gauge pod witch will fully replace you whole pillar instead of ADD ON. And it will be somthing more like this pod i made for WRX.

Alright, Im thinking both of these look amazing! Put me down for both and ill buy which ever comes out first!!! Keep me posted!!!

i don't think these are ever going to go into production since doggy isn't going to be making any more of his stuff for the celi. too time consuming and shipping is a Bit**. maybe someone else would be willing to make these though. there are a few people around that have the ability to make these kinds of things.

Yeah, these won't be made anymore. US money isn't worth a lot, shipping is killer, time frames aren't consistant with busy schedules, and too many people flake out once a product is made.
