just for anyone interested in an SRT-4 they are currently in the process of making a Twin Turbo kit that is very near completion. They are supposed to take it to the dyno and get some real numbers out of it and it should be for sale within the next few weeks. Now im definatly getting an SRT-4.

So at most $25,000 for a car that can outrun vette's, vipers, and pretty much everything on the street, sounds like a good deal to me. ever hear of a 2step limiter? you can run 1 big turbo and use a 2step on the launch. a lot of srt4 guys have it, I have it on my WRX. it puts a load limit at an RPM you select. you simply press and hold the button then floor the car. it will hold that preset RPM and make boost, while going 0mph. my car makes 7-10psi when i 2step it. it not lag that hinders the SRT4 from a dig, its the FWD. slicks, suspension, and 2step help out a lot oh and BTW, since that kit is using twin stock turbos, its not a sequencial setup. both will come on boost at the same time, which will be later than when boost kicks in on a stock srt4. especially if you go with the clipped option(only 1.2l of displacement to spool each turbo) -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

my personal experience from friends owning SRT4's are that they break quick stock...but break even quicker modded. lol i'd never buy one but hell they are QUICK as hell

I dont see the point of putting that much power to the front wheels.....those cars already have wicked bad torque steer. And dont get me started with that POS neon with a turbo. same neon suspension...same neon looks....with a turbo.....the rear windows on manual not electric...ITS AMERICAN...

If it came in a 2 door, it would be a lot more apealling to me. But I would buy one if that was my budget. Anyone remember the old Shelby Omni Turboes? Carol Shelby said he would put one up agaisnt a Shelby Mustang any day. This is shows that Dodge as been in the turbo game for a while, and they've made a couple fast 4cylinder turboes. The old Omni's aren't known for they're reliability in turbo form, but they kick but in NA form. They also get upwards of high 30s low 40s mpg turboed and really great NA.

WHo the hell wants a Neon look? that is why you are getting made fun of. Saying i have the fast srt-4 is like saying you are the smartest kid with down syndrome. The only good thing about dodge is if they are in the demolition derby. Neons are the most unreliable car made by any car manufacturer in like 30 years. I would take a ford tempo over a srt-4.

I would take a ford tempo over a srt-4. are you speaking from first hand experience? did you own an srt4? did it break down on you a lot? the only reason people make fun of them is because they offer up cheap speed and power. evo's are ugly, wrx's and sti's are ugly, F bodies are ugly. just because the car is ugly, it does not change what the car is designed and built to do a fast car is a fast car, plain and simple like i said earlier, i have a friend with an SRT4 and right when he drove it off the lot he started beating the crap out of it and hasnt stopped. not a single problem has come up. my cousin is a sales manager at the local dodge dealership and he doesnt see SRT4's comming in left and right for repairs i would drive an srt4 in a heart beat if someone gave it to me. please note, i own a 2004 WRX -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

I don't know why everyone bashes on the SRT-4 for looks. If you're going to bash on it, bash on the Lancer too. It's pretty ungly in it's lower form. Those cars are junk too. Same as the base model Neons. Impreza is the only one that always looks good. But the new ones are a little iffy in my book.

My friend has a 05 srt4 and it is pretty nice. It's quick and has torque out the ying yang. It has an lsd tranny, but still has major torque steer. And a 400 whp srt will not run 10's a locla guy around here has 490 to the wheels and he has nitrous so I'm sure he is over 500 to the wheels and he only ran 11.3 cus he can't get traction.
