WTB 94-97 celica gt 5spd Options

Pretty much the title says it all, im looking for a 94-97 celica 5 spd gt or gts with no more than 160k on it, also one which is relatively close to kentucky thx

was wondering if you guys think it may be fraud, guy is from another country (sounds like afghan or sumtin) says hes leavin next month and he immediately came down to 2,500 within the first 5 mins because he said the drivers side mirror was broke. just like to get some other opinions on this

It's not a 5 spd, but it has a good price for a 96 GT. The picture looks good, but they did'nt put how many miles were on the car or if there are any damages.

it looks like he has t-shirts covering up the front seats....i could be wrong...personally...i wouldnt buy a car from a middle easterner(whole saler).......usually the cars are messed up....at first they look good...but wait about a month...all the problems surface and your screwed....Im not trying to be racist or stereotypical...just speaking from experience

thx for the help ENTRIDER has offered his 94 cel hatch 5 spd for 2500, it ahs no engine but he has a 3sgte an awd tranny and a fwd tranny he will throw in. the 3sgte has 40k on it. id like some of ur guys' advice on this. im puttin the pics of his celi in my profile. thx

Sounds like a good deal...engines alone are 1-1.5k...so you paying about 1500 for the car w/no engine...see how much other cars w/out engines are going for Also, look into the install prices of your 3sgte (about 4k for install and other stuff note: rought est.)...b/c if you don't want/don't need a 3sgte, it becomes $$...so if you have it installed by someone like dr. tweak, you're looking spending a totall of about $6500.

just a few thoughts ...anybody, correct me if i'm wrong on anything...

The car does have the factory 2.2L it has been pulled so that the wirring harness can be taken off, The car is in pretty good shape and has a clean title. I just got a bike for summer and school is killing me so I will be trying to get rid of her . keep me posted mike5432, Thanks

hey entrider, how many miles does the factory 2.2 have on it? if i buy it i just might put the 2.2 in it because i dont think i could put a 3sgte in it for the fact that im not 100% sure what i would be doing. (Id prolly screw sumtin up.)

eidt: o and does the stock 2.2 run/work at all or is it blown or sumtin?

I got the car with the 2.2L in it and the guy told me that the freeze out plug had popped out and the car over heated, He did not have a lot of know how about the car or any car. I got the car home charged the battery and it turned over but did not start, didn't sound bad but still it did not start. So I have no idea what is wrong with the motor. It did come with (8) new plugs and (2) new sets of plug wires that will go with the car also, that could have been all it needed but again I don't know for sure. The swap is not that bad all the motor mounts are the same and if you send the wiring off to Dr. Teak then the hard part is over. This car has a ton of potential with the 3sgte and stock tranny alone or go all out and find a gt4 rear and use the al-trac tranny and have a fake Gt4 road monster. The car is a good deal I am not make much money at all on it I just want someone to finish it and enjoy it and with a new bike and school I know that that someone is not going to be me. Thanks

Here is where the car is right now….
The 2.2 has been taken out and the car has fenders, hood and bumper removed and the radiator has been taken out. The car is missing both low beams lights (one is in the pic but I don’t have anymore) and missing passenger side rear light and sun visors. Everything else is their. I have the JDM 3SGTE which came from a 93 al-trac with ~40K miles on it, and I have the al-trac tranny, 3SGTE ECU, HKS intake, resistors for the fuel pump, Mr2 Fuel pump, 3SGTE wiring harness (is off of the motor), duct for the alternator, a box full of factory service manuals, cd’s, and documentation on the motor and the 6g Celica. Plus more parts I can’t remember. The body is in good shape but has a large dent in the back passenger panel that should be able to pop out, (it is NOT creased so it is not to bad) All in all you can see this is well worth 2500, I would be interested in some trades for another car, bike plus money. Any question pm I and I will give you my number. Car is power everything plus sunroof!!

Just to let people know, by no means am i trying to promote this sale. I am just trying to help by posting pics.

Honestly, the body does not look in good shape (looks like it might have been keyed above the pass. rear wheel?...and the dent is pretty big...might want to look into that more before buying it)

But you just have to weigh the pros and cons

hey would anyone have any suggestions on what kind of loan i should get, or if i should get one at all? im 18 yrs old and only about 30% sure on how to put an engine into a car so i really need something that doesnt need a whole bunch of work. Advice would be greatly appreciated thx.

KEYED?!?! WTF Has not been keyed i see where it lookes like it on the pic but that is the only damage on the body. I think it is in good shape considering the price/ year/ state of car. Just a thought
