hi everyone..well i dont know yet, but i might be gettin a new car. I love the celi n all, but i think ima sell it soon (dunt kno yet, im having a hard time lettin go of it)..but n e way..so im lookin for a car under the 20's..but a sports car again, i mean, somethin like the celi..but the parents said they want it to be a car thats made anywhere between 00-06. Ive looked at a couple cars, all including rsx type s, mr2 sypders (im really attracted to this one, but dont kno much bout it), 06 elipse..etc.
so im jus wonderin what yall think is the best sporty car out there for that timeframe n under the 20's.

well, im faced with the same problem, except I dont have to get a new car, i just want a 2nd car. The best sports car for in the mid 20's will be a 350z, no doubt about it. Most reliable, fastest, and sexy as hell. Or you could always get an SRT-4 for around 15. If you want more of the luxury 'speed' you can always get a porsche boxster convert for around 27. As for me, im done with speed, Im probably just gonna get an 05' Cadillac DTS or a Chrysler 300. Luxury gets more girls than speed anyways.

RSX-S/R
350Z
S2000
Civic Si
Evo
STi
Eclipse
VW GTi
Audi A4/A6
SRT4
RX8
Celica GTS

MR2-S I have one its pretty nice, 2000 fully loaded, 5spd, black on black, 40k miles, I got it for 12k.

Thats just basicly what I can think of right now, all of them being imports, but if only the price is what matters there are tons of options.

well..ive been thinkin bout it all day today..n i decided to stick with the celi for a good two more months n get more money together..cuz im startin to lean alot towards a G35..it has luxury n speed. n theyre not all that expensive either, jus round the same as 350z. I did think bout srt-4s and what not..n i loved the look of the mr2...but i figured i might as well go all out n get my dream car..so what do yall think bout the G35..n how do u think they compare to the 350Z??

well what i meant by not that expensive is..under 25..but that was the 5 speed automatic..i found a 6 speed manual going for 27000 down here...n it was definitly lookin clean. but dun get me wrong, 27000 is alot of money tho..but im plannin to put 10,000 as a DP on the car. (i probably got like a two more months of savin up to do)...so with that big a DP..i figure payments wont be all that high either (thats if they dun try to screw me over with interest n what not). hehe..funny thin is, most of the money i got together for the car has all been scholarship money (being smart n bustin my @** in high skool payed off)..i happened to get the 100% bright futures scholarship that the florida gov. offers..n on top of that i got alot of financial aid from that federal Pell grant...n plus what i had saved up from workin..its nearing 10,000. not to mention that ima end up sellin my car once i get that DP together.
Only problem that might occur is insurance..so what yall think it'll be??
BTW.. i just turned 18 n im in an insurance policy with four cars in it n im covered in the most expensive one (my brothers 7th gen)...
I looked up the Z's n they are chaper than the G35..so y would it benefit me to get that G35 instead of the Z??..as stupid as that sounz,,

the g-35 is a 4 seater, auto(for what u can afford) 400lbs heavier and slower. The350 is a 2 seater lighter wight and faster, an prolly 3k cheaper. Depends what u want. Id prolly go for the 350z.

first of all..whats this "more than u can afford" BS..u dont even kno m...ok ok, before i get ahead of myself..yo i think ur right..it is more than i could afford..to tell yall the truth, im not lookin to spend no more that 30k (i kno i mentioned 20k before..but i just talked to the parents, n they said if i save up another 2k, then they will help me out wit the rest). n doug..is the Z really faster than the G35..i mean, i just took a look at the specs n what not, n the 6-speed G35 has the Z by a couple HP..but i guess that dun really matter when weight comes into play..ni did find a 6-speed G35 at one of the dealers down here in florida going for 28k, not bad a price if u ask me. which one yall think is better lookin n e way, n which one has more aftermarket support?? (i kno Z's have a lot, but dun kno bout the G35)
