Well today marked my first day of school since 3 years ago! Im so excited! Also tonight I get to go to Tower Records at midnight and get BrokeBack Mountain on DVD! I highly recommend that movie! It is so good! I also have a line dancing/2 step class! And on Saturday I got 2 tickets to Kenny Chesney concert. Wow could I sound anymore hick?! Lol! :-)

So anyone having a case of the Mondays? It feels nice to have a good Monday for once!

edit - i meant to put this in that thread called "ups and downs" so can a mod please delete this and once that is done i will just go ahead and post this in there! thanks

Brokeback mountain has been out since late January I think. There was just more hype about it before the Oscars cuz it was up for awards! its really good! if you can put aside that its two males and just take it for what it is - a love story. then u can really appreciate it! but most chick flicks are about love so i guess even if it was a guy and a girl - then most guys still wouldnt wanna see it

is it me or could they have named that movie a little better, i mean a movie about 2 gay cowboys named "broke back" come on now.

(although i never saw it)

I actualy like a lot of chick flicks (gana regret saying that one day) and I dont really have any want to see this one, but I guess I'm just judging it from what I saw on Carlose Meceya.

it was just a badly put together love story about two gay guys

i'll be the man on the forum and say it. The movie has a good moving story to it. I'm going to ruin it, but most of you don't care anyways. It inspires you to think about stuff, such as, what if you find your real soul mate, and you know it's your real soul mate no matter what, male/male, male/female. Then, all the sudden, you find out he/she has deceased, your young, and all you have in life now is working to be able to eat and sleep. But all you care about is having all the time in the world to think about, and know, how great the life with your soul-mate would've been. This movie defiantly should've won a lot of respect and medals, it's one of the more true movies that i have seen in a LONG TIME.

Oh yeah, for you guys and some gals that just want to shoot there mouth off to look cool and manly, well, i'm happily married, and i found my soul-mate in 9th grade.

art, i KNOW this was a joke.
lemme ask you this, tho:
would you walk into a room, full of people that you really dont know, and shout the word "nig*er"? then say "hey, its just a joke.." as some huge black dude cranks his fist into your face? lol
like i said, i know its a joke, but still offensive non the less.. wink.gif
