For those of you who have stock OEM black leather seats and black floor carpet: Do yall have stock black headliner aswell? The reason I ask is because I obtained some OEM black leather seats, so now almost all the interior is black except the grey headliner/sungards. I was thinking it would look very sick if the headliner and sun gards were black too. BUT (as some may know, I try to keep everything lookin as stock "lookin" as possible), if toyota only made celicas with black leatherseats and floor carpet, but grey headliner then I'll keep it stock.

thx

i guess joe is going for a similar look as me. I painted my carpet from tan to black, along with my headliner and visors and dome and mirror.... As long as you dont rush through things the mirror and dome light and headliner will look stock. The sunvisors however, wont. Either way though it looks alot better then the tan.

heh, i got a lot of the info from you. anywho... yeah, my visors are kinda fading already. but just the mirror side. other than that, everything looks great. and the paint dries fast too, but i drove with my windows down for a few days cuz of the smell.

Cool thanks guys. I was thinking about doing my visors redone in like a leather or vinyl. But I thought if I should do them in black or grey... then I thought if I redo them in in black I might aswell do the headliner in black. But, given the new info, I will keep the grey headliner and prob do the visors in grey leather or vinyl.

6gc strikes again!
thanks again.

How did you guys change the color of the tan. Did you just spray paint it no in place or did you remove it from the car and use a dye? I would like to turn it all black as I am not a big fan of the color and am trying to determine the best way for a quality looking job that will last.

you can either use fabric spray paint or fabric dye. either way, you'll want to remove your carpet, which can be a hassle so make sure you have time on your hands.

I saw it in a RX7 (there A-pillars are factory leather) I am having my headliner and visors re-wrapped in black leather, then dye'n my plastics parts in Fabric dye brought to a Boil, that way if any scratches happen they stay black.
