Hello All.

I got a great deal on a 98 GT Manual for my 3sgte project, so I will be parting out the 96 GT auto I have.

Parts that will not be parted out -
1) front bumper
2) hood
3) passenger fender
4) steering wheel
5) Air bag sensors
6) Tein SS & cusco mounts

Items Sold:[u]
side skirts - sold to kash1355 (paid)

other than that every thing else can go.

on another note - this car has a little over 210k miles on it - so the engine is not in its best shape

The only catch is I will still need the 96 for 3 more wks to drive around, but if there are parts that I can remove but still have car driveable than I can send right away. As far as price goes - shoot me reasonable offers here or pm or email me directly. Not really looking to make profit, but just wanted to get some $$$ back from the 98 that I purchased. Part Pics can be taken upon request. For shipping quotes go to UPS or www.usps.com (cheaper) and you can do the estimations from my zip 76012

Payments:
1) PayPal - hunnie4287@yahoo.com
2) Money Order - 435 Matt Ln - Arlington, TX 76012 (Scott Nguyen)

When Paying please put part description in comment field to ensure that you will be receiving correct part.
I will try to keep everyone updated as much as possible when items are ready to be send out so payments can be made.

just took these pics today

parts that i have replied to and confirmed pricing - that can be taken apart now -payments can be sent to hunnie4287@yahoo.com -PayPal- i trust that every one will include the right S/H amount provided by UPS when sending payment - but if you want to confirm feel free to pm or reply in this post and i will give you total cost. -- USPS shipping seems to be way cheaper - another option for shipping -

also make sure when sending payment include description of part just to make sure i will be sending the right part to the right person.

Is the center handrest part (the thing that flips up between the front seats) black leather? If so, I'd like it.
Also, if you look on the ceiling above the back seats, there should be three little plastic pegs holding the ceiling up, are they a kinda grey color? If so, I'd like those too.

Finally, does your trunk have the little black circle things covering up screw holes? Mine are missing smile.gif

Hello All.

I got a great deal on a 98 GT Manual for my 3sgte project, so I will be parting out the 96 GT auto I have.

Parts that WILL NOT be parted out -
1)front bumper
2) hood
3) passenger fender
4) steering wheel
5) Passenger side headlights
6) Tein SS & cusco mounts

other than that every thing else can go.

on another note - this car has a little over 210k miles on it - so the engine is not in its best shape

For shipping quotes go to UPS and you can do the estimations from my zip 76012

guys read that post again, its #6 among the list of things he is keeping, so chances are you being interested doesnt do alot of good lol....

How much do you want for these pieces? The plastic things that the screws go into on my bar broke and the piece comes up instead of staying down. So I'd like a new bar. I assume it's to keep water out.

IPB Image

Also, this plastic piece that the bar attaches to broke, I'd need this piece as well. The left side, if it matters.

Sorry for the over-exposed pictures..someone was messing with my camera.

also on your spreadsheet you have me down as 2nd in line for side skirts but its not actually under my name

how much would you want for the 2 pieces the crash bar mounts to? they slide into the frame and are held in by 2 bolts each.

glad u caught my mistake - though i would of figured it out -

i may need those 2 pieces for the 98 -- not sure yet until the 98 arrives --

on another note -- does anyone have any information on shipping to canada from the US -- the rate quotes I'm getting from DHL and UPS are over $100 -- more than what the item cost -- after speaking to the representatives - they said they only use one international rate, which is express - no standard, no ground - nothing cheap -- thats hard to believe --

and USPS - won't accept my package saying the size is more than what they can handle - and if i choose to go through with it - the surcharge will be very high

any suggestions from the canadian community is appreciated --

what i'm trying to ship off are my side skirts to kash1355

Hi:

New to forum, and glad to find you.

I need a convertible boot for my 1995 Celica GT. Black. I have found one or two on e-bay but they will not fit that year. Toyota wants almost $800 for one, which is ridiculious.

Would 1996 model fit 1995 - that is, if your 1996 is a convertible?

Thanks-

I need the inner plastic wheel well shield for the front drivers side, as well as a (preferably black) back seat & all mounting hardware/clips, and the carpet or other material that goes on the trunk floor, sides, and along the inner back wall behind the taillights. My car is completely stripped starting behind the front seats, and I have no idea what the stock materials look like that cover up the trunk area on a GT Hatchback. Got any pics?? Like from the back w/ hatch open, and the back seat? I also may need a sunroof motor (I have a '95)....would I need one is the sunroof tilts up & back down but doesn't slide back? Is it supposed to?

i don't remember getting your zip code (i may of lost it) but i would estimate 7lb shipping within TX to be $15 through usps
drivers side rubber seal (for lowbeam headlight) $2.00
tweeters $10.00
Harness $80.00
total to be - $107 -- harness i cannot send yet until 2 wks from now - so you might want to wait to send payment - unless u need the tweeters and rubber seal right away

Agreed! He did a lot of work (i.e. finding many quotes), not to mention an unnecessary trip to USPS just so he could get the skirts shipped to me.

Do you have power mirrors. If you do I'm interested in the drivers side mirror.

Just thought id let you know i got my stuff in on thursday. Everything looks great....When it gets down to the very end of this parting out, i may have to swing by and grab the front windshield if yours isnt cracked like mine.

thanks for the update - mine has 2-3 circle chips - not very noticeable - but you can have it if you swing by -

Just got a call today from the shipping service saying that the 98 will arrive next Tuesday -- fro NY to TX -- door to door cost me $680 -- man I can't wait -- its like getting a new car all over or the 1st car joy kinda thing --

this will be so fun -- my 96 always had this bothersome whirling noise in the rear - and too many other small problems that would of cost me too much to fix --

got the 98 for $750 with minor front collision damage - but nothing mechanically wrong -- will be swaping some parts from the 96 to the 98 to then comes the 3sgte - will be going down to superiortradinginternational.com to pick up the beast 2 wks from now -- also a complete paint job going from oem red to metallic gray --

the parting out will begin next Friday and Saturday (my days off)- so for those who remain interest to the parts they wanted and were informed that they were 1st in line - you can proceed with payments come next Friday -- parts that are a little difficult to take apart may be shipped out the wk after , which will be the 8th or 9th of May -- Not every one provided me their zip code so I assume you all did the shipping estimations yourself, which is fine, but if I end up being short when I get ready to ship your parts out - I will pm to let those know. My zip code is 76012 - help me out by doing the estimations yourself - but you can always pm me or within this post to confirm. Prefered Method of Payment is thru Paypal at hunnie4287@yahoo.com Every item shipped will have a tracking # - so after your packages are sent out - i will do my best to pm you all the same day or day after.

2morrow I will upload an updated copy of the excel spreadsheet on page 1 around 3pm cst- so please refer to page 1 to confirm which parts you are getting and what the cost were. My mailbox will most likely be full around payment time. There were many request for parts, so please bare with me as I try to make everyone happy. If I don't respond to pms or requests within 1 day - feel free to repost or re-pm (email - scottkun@gmail.com)

-- edit -- FYI i will use the cheapest shipping option available through USPS to save you guys money on shipping - unless I am informed other wise
