 Clutch Slipping, Need to adjust. |

Does anyone know how to adjust the clutch? My clutch is sliping, its a brand new spec 1 with about 900 miles on it and it is slipping..

Have to question why it is slipping though after such a short time? Possibility of contamination on the mating surfaces such as oil perhaps? Assume that you had the flywheel skimmed when you installed the new clutch and it was still within factory tolerances? Yea they flywheel was turned and everything was good. I there isn't any oil leaks I checked for that. It is like it isn't releasing all the way.

you prolly need to adjust the push rod.

Failing that, you may need to look at whether you need a new slave cylinder and I'd also recommend flushing out the old fluid and replacing with new. flush/bleed the hydraulics and if that doesnt fix it, adjust the rod on teh clutch pedal, if that doesnt fix it start to suspect the slave cylinder.
