CODE alarm is really good. I have this on mine and I love it... it the most sensitive alarm I have ever seen but it won't go off unless someone is trying to get into the car... either by hood, glass, door, trunk, etc... this thing will chirp though if you bump it or there's a loud sound. plus it comes with remote start and keyless entry... Around 300-400 installed

Do you currently have remote start installed on your car? And isn't your car a stick? I heard that it's incredibly hard to find a place to install remote start on a stick because it's so much of a liability.

the alarm came with the car when I bought it.... I am not sure if it was stock or not but whoever did it did a REALLY good job.... it's installed right under the dash and I have never had a prob with it at all. Changing it to work on my 3sgte was a little bit of a bish... mostly cuz it was the 1st time I had ever played around with an alarm and didn't have instructions... once I figured it out it wasn't hard though.

I got a Viper 790xv costly but somewhat worth it. It does have long range and a 2 way pager, but only comes with one remote. I ordered the extra one for $80. I think you should just get a basic alarm system seem all the same to me. Unless the crimerate in your area is very high or your car has a lot of valuables in it.
