you need to..

1. take the spark plug wires off of the spark plugs
2. take off the spark plug tube nuts (4) underneath the spark plug wires
3. take off the washers/ spacers underneath the spark plug tube nuts
4. take a block of wood and a hammer to jar the valve cover loose because it will be snug... or take a putty knife and pry underneath the valve cover

that should do it for you

Does the 7A have the spark plug tube nuts? I can't see them if it does.

^you dont have to, just unplug the plugs (pull them off CAREFULLY! DONT YANK THEM OUT!) and set them aside, its a good idea to mark them so you dont mix them up when you put them back

You don't need to, they're numbered 1-4 and they have different lengths for each, 1 being the longest, 4 being the shortest

The 7A has 4 separate nuts on the body of the valve cover - supposedly with gaskets that you need to keep associated with the proper post that you removed them from - at least that's what my Chilton's said - offering me help on this with a 7A but none for a 5sfe.
