A while back i posted a post in this section called "would you trade your celica for this?" and i was showing my friends R32 skyline. Well, he has had this skyline for roughly..3 - 3 1/2 months now and hasnt sold it, only had 2 nibbels on it. Like mint R32 with less than 100xxxKM, twin turbo, nismo front end, nismo headlights, Vielside Andrew Racing rims...beautiful car for $15500CND ready to roll. No one has even though about it because..well..he doesnt advertise. He put 1 ad up on a local 240sx club's site and got in trouble for it because he didnt ask if he could post as a buisness on the site. Other than that, he drives around his neighbour hood with a FS sign on it. So im gonna give him a business proposition. I have a friend of mine who owes me a big favour (did a bunch of body work/helped him out with his neon) that designs websites, so im gonna tell him ill get this guy to design and put up a website, i will increase their business area to south western ontario/mid west US (Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin) since im going to be across the river from Detroit. Also that i will do it for a 6 or 7% cut on the selling price of the car..like $15000 car...7% cut = $1050 for me. So if i do go into business with him and his bro...i get my cut, plus, im gonna be gettin my car imported from japan as a kind of "advertising" gimic. Show coustomers what kind of quality we can get. So im gonna be gettin a RHD SW20 Turbo from japan biggrin.gif . Also, best part of the job..come home on weekends to pickup the cars and drive em to windsor..aka driving skylines, Pulsar GTI-Rs, MR2s, All-Tracs, Silvias, 180SX', etc for a few hours bootin it down the highway. So when i get back from France in mid june, ill let you guys know if im the newest employee for SMP motors, and ill be able 2 start taking orders.

wish me luck.

ps. My SW20 is gonna b black, t-top, turbo, and im plannin on gettin a Trust side mount I/C, Tom's Air scoop, CT20B2 turbo, and im gonna get Cry02 C02 I/C spray. Ive got more in store for it, but it will remain a secret for now..only other hint..its gonna be around 250WHP at first.

cool stuff man.
one note about the IC you chose, its very well known to heatsoak quickly, you'd be better off with the spearco unit, or the new berk tech setup he just relesed not too long ago.
either will give better cooling and more flow over the trust(greddy)

Actually with a 7.5 spal pusher fan you remove 20 degrees of heat from the IC, up to 45 with 2 fans. I can dig up some dyno charts but the greddy and berk flow about the same, but in the end the spearco is better. For the ct20b all he needs is the greddy, but why the snorkel =o(?

I thought after the owner of motorex was imprisoned that importing rules have changed drasticly, like only 92-97 skylines could be imported without the huge hastle, maybe thats only Cali. Just a question, after the importing will you guys be legalizing these cars for stateside use with all the proper registration and saftey tec forms?

edit: haha I thought your sig was familar, you post on mr2oc sometimes huh presure2? The white gt4 always catches my eye.

Im gonna go with the greddy I/C and an 8" either pusher or puller fan depending on how the I/C fits in, and also a Cryo genic i/c fogger. Im gonna be doing alot of highway running and i dont wanna over heat the car..so im gettin a 5lb bottel of Co2 with an install kit and a i/c foggin kit

Well, my friend has his BNR32 GTR for $15500 CND, Nismo front bumper, Nismo headlights, Apexi gauges, all new rockford fostage speakers, poineer deck, 18x8 and 18x9.5 Vielside Andrew Racing wheels, some big ass FMIC, coustomized factory bov(sounds alot like a greddy type rs), 4" down pipe, 3.5" exhaust(cant remember the brands), a switch to change from 4wd to rwd. So..for a nicely modded, but not tooo modded GTR from the company your looking at..$13828 give or take a few. Thats for the car landed in toronto, e-tested, cert, etc. It might cost a bit more to bring the car across the boarder though. But i mean $13.8K isnt bad for a 350whp r32.

If we are taking orders...and we are serious here...see about getting me a '97 Subaru Legacy RSB...I'd get out of the 6gc for that

edit for the above quote...The FTO is sick...that **** would be so sleeper with the Galant VR4 engine from the '97 VR4 and no one knows what they are

He's talking about 15 year old cars and older. That's how the law works in Canada. That means '91 and older. Right now there is a legally imported '91 GT4 (jdm alltrac) listed on alltrac.net up in Canada.

pretty much..law in canada is that you can legaly import and register any car that is at least 15 years to the month old. Aka, if i wanted to import a car that was made in august 91, i couldnt. it has to be to the month. So right now, we are able 2 import any thing from 91 and earlier. Like, if any one wants, i could get a 91 celica all-trac group A or type RC for like $8000 CND. As for the FTO street, ill see what i can do. Any thing spesific you want? Colour, trans, modded? unmodded? how heavily modded if you want modded?, any minimum km you would want on it? Im leavin for france in 6 days, aka this coming friday. So yea, pm me with the specs your looking for and ill pass em onto my friend. If i can show him i can get orders already for cars, its gonna help me out alot too. So if any one else wants a quote/a car imported, pm me please.

LHD was sold in Europe, so if his guy is doing importing from Japan you'll probably have to settle for RHD.

as of now, SMP motors is only importing from Japan, once the market gets bigger and grows. We will start importing from Europe too. So can we? most likely. Will we? dunno yet, we still have to find a reliable contact in Europe. Most likely though, a LDH gt4 is gonna cost more than a RHD. Mainly because its going to be found on mainland, so we would have to get it shipped from mainland europe, to a port, so either Nice, Cannes, Monico, Rotterdam, or some where on a coast in europe, then get it shipped by boat to us, then shipped across canada again to us in toronto, then back to where you are. Where as from japan, most of the car we are buying are coming from big city costal towns, so its from the lot, to the port, from japan to vancouver, off the boat still in the container, to toronto, then from Scarbrough (east end of the city) to Etobicoke(west end). Very minimal shipping and relatively inexpensive. We could, but dont even know if we are gonna be able 2 at the cost you want, and if its gonna be somethin the business can afford.

and what do you mean "settle for a RHD"? RHD is soooo much more fun to drive with. Plus much more unique.

FTO? or GTO? GTO would be easier than FTO. I havent seen any FTOs for sale thus far, but plenty of GTOs.

Well, its...semi offical that im the newest member of the SMP motors team. Only thing i have to do to really get fully into the buiesness is get my car salesmen lisence ($800) and im good. I talked to my friends, they said that importing cars from any country to the states is an iffy topic right now. They think there is going to be/is a complete ban on importing cars, but they are going to look into it. He is also seeing if he can track down some FTOs for you. He said they are rare in japan because not many people liked them plus they are netorius for their transmissions. But he said he will see what he can do.

Now, my delema, car choise to represent the company...

i'm feeling the toyota or the skyline, either skyline is fine, but you seem like a hardcore toyota fan, so get the mr2 if it makes you happy, 300z are notorious for breaking down when you make more power, why not get both the mr2 and a skyline? but to represent a shop, i'd say skyline, at least here in the States you'd get a good rep, not sure how popular skylines are in canada though
