I want something that is easy to swap in so i was thinking about a 4agze or a 4age. which would be easier. also i might turbo it in the future which would be better for that. i have an st i am not lookin to be super fast i just want it to have some balls. thanks for the help in advance.

i know its not gonna be easy but from what i have read the 4age and 4agze bolt to an st cause they are both A's. I have never done this before so i want something maybe a little easier than a 3sge or 3sgte cause from what i read about those you have to change motor mounts convert the tranny to fwd. i just think this might be a little easier for my first swap

From what I have read its easier to turbocharge the 4agze than the 20v 4age

To be honest, I'd go with redtop 16v 4age that was used in the ae92 corolla gts. Reason why is because you will definitely find parts for the 16v, it already out from a left-hand drive vehicle, and it still revs pretty high. Maybe not as high as a 20v 4age, but it's still a screamer. You can always have options to go n/a or turbo on the 16v with the right parts. 20v on the other hand, not much parts and if any it's expensive. 4agze....don't really know much about it. You should try asking guys on the forum who has that swap. The 20v 4age can be pretty difficult if you do it yourself, and can be expensive to make new p/s lines or even getting the a/c to work. But if you do decide to go 20v, ask Dr. Tweak if he could do your wiring for you.

The 4agze is a hard swap, its alot less common so alot less people can help you. The same goes with the 4age. IMO easier would be 3sgte, its just a little bit more work. -------------------- |

Nah, it's not going 4agze at all. Just going straight up n/a redtop 4age from the ae92. The big convenience of that is because you wouldn't really need to do anything to the wiring harness. Maybe extending some parts of the wiring, but that's actually minors when it comes to redoing the 20v or gze right-hand drive harnesses. Best bet, if swapping is a must and funds aren't really a factor, get a whole front clip. A big majority of all the parts that you will need is going to be on the front clip. When I did my swap, the cost with everything I wanted came up to about $4000. And I didn't go to shop to do it, I did the swap with some help from Tweak and a mechanic friend. The 20v needs AFM, external P/S reservoir, custom a/c and p/s hoses, and redone wire harness. All that pheripherals is gonna add up in price, believe me
