Heres my very first post:

I'm planning on putting a turbo into my 94 GT - and im thinking CT-26 outta a supra and maybe if i can fit the intercooler, that too. Plus high compression pistons, new (possibly kevlar) clutch, but I think im missing something...keep in mind im not set on this CT-26, but the kit from Buillen or whatever boosts about 45hp pushin 5psi, not too much considering its 2500 dollars. Ne body ?

here's my first post..i was never a noob :

yeah, i can atest to the Ground Controls being a little bit better quality, that is what i'm on, i'm dropped all the way (about 2.5") and my car is not too bouncy..it does bottom out on somet things, but you learn how to keep it from doing that, such as slowing down 10mph, hitting the bump in the right spot, etc..i am still on stock struts, if anyone is wondering, and they seem to be holding up, other than a loud THUD when hitting a big bump, the car actually rides very very well.. worth the 400 i spent (free shipping cause my 3day shippiing took 4 days. i wouldn't have been mad, but it was the difference from a friday to a monday. ) ANYWAY...um...so yeah, my advice is, save up, but if you want somethin now, go w/ the cheapies...but save up or somethin...in the long run it'll be worth it...

My first post I don't think was too Noobish..it's atleast partial accurate.

If the engine isn't even turning over, and you power is all hooked up correctly, it is almost certainly the starter. Its not the alt; you dont need the alt to turn over the engine, only to power the car once you have already started.

I supposed its possible that the new cluch somehow is impeding the turning of the engine, but that is very unlikely.

hahahahaha... man oh man. I wanted to know about a 4 inch drop. I was undoubtingly the biggest noob when they first joined, im still a pretty big one when it comes to some things.

hey. i'm a noob here.... i drove a 6gen ST before and after my dumb ass friend crashed it, i got myself a 6gen GT. lotsa power difference.... free performance... i think nothing's free.. but there's definitely cheap performance stuff.... i got my intake for 20bucks, replaced it with a K&N filter $25, got a breather filter from auto zone, 11bucks, replace all sparks with iridium sparks..$50bucks+, if you are in NYC.... instead of spending $400++ on Greddy SP catback.. get a muffler you like and go to shea stadium to redo the piping... i got mine for $100 plus tip. their welding skills are alrite... hope i helped in any way

Actually, i found my drop to be perfect
the 1.5" from the Eibach sportline isn't too low, nor is it high
it got rid of that hideous wheel gap, and made driving the celi even more fun
any lower and i wouldn't have my front end anymore, because these Pennsylvania roads suck.

Wow, that last one sounds just like my situation.....

I have a 94 GT that i bought from a family friend.....i later found out when i went to register it that someone thought that setting the odometer was a good idea....lol.....but i think that it has around 180,000 miles on it, if im not mistaken (odometer reads 145k). Still runs like new....havent had a single problem whatsoever.

My first post, I believe I made that in my 10th grade keyboarding class in High School since thats when I discovered the site.....so I was about 16, maybe 17 then. I'm now almost 21, and here I am. Thats almost 4 years ago. haha.

I don't understand my post though, my car was accidentally registered with 180k miles by the previous owner, and so I took the gauge cluster out of the car and fixed the reading so that it matched the title. I think that was my first "Mod" to my car also. However it definately wasn't "tampered" at all upon closer inspection, just a simple screw up on their part.
