You're joking right? sorry but there is no way I could take any pride in my car at all if I didn't pay for it. (not directed towards you) but who cares how nice, expensive, or rare something is if you couldn't even get it, but had to have someone else buy it for you. How do people who have their parents buy them vehicles or other items have the audascity (sp) to show them off and boast about them. I mean seriously, spoiled kids piss me off... i dont get an allowence, so i gotta ask my mom for things. look at dustin, he prolly strated off like i did. now he's got custom projectors.

car isint mine yet, its still my moms, im just doing stuff to it cause im "creative" liek that.

my mom got the celi cause we needed a 2nd car, and for when i turn 16 i dont gotta take off in her car

i am NOT an adult, i am 15 and a half so i am not self dependant.

i would understand if i was like 25 and my mom would have to buy me things, thats pathetic, but im not.

long beach is NOT beverly hills.

and yeah, i am Not Spoiled, i know what i can and cant get.

We cant all afford our own cars when we were younger. My parents had to help me with mine (which i paid them back for). He seems like a nice kid, and he isn't bragging about his car or anything. It's all part of growing up, we all had to have our parents or someone help us out before. Im sure if he was older he would pay for everything himself. But hehe, my parents still give me money from time to time even though i don't live with them, and i gladly accept .

I was just like you when I was 14 XS4lv1Truch0x,

mine was a vert too lol, dad bought the car, and bought me my first set of wheels/tires from pepboys......after that much(i was almost 16), I found a job working with my brothers music instructor since he opened up his own restaurant. Needless to say I SKIPPED a school trip to NYC so that I could pay for my 17's lol.....and back then, i spent more money changing sound systems....i could have bought other things:P

Since my car is like the exact same thing as yours, cept for some minor differences like color, and transmission, and prolly milage. But i figured since we are both 25th anniversary edition 1996 convertibles, that the price would be close. Mine cost me..$8,200 (3-4 years ago). But now the price has gone down as i put more money in it

i got my celi august 2005, for 6000, with 70k on it. it was bone stock. like it came from the factory. i just bought the subwoofers, 4 speakers, and i already had the receiver. lol i had to put all that in cause i know my mom wouldnt wana pay 200 more dollars to get all of that installed.

but its salvage so that takes some points off, maybe thats why i got a 94 bumper on it lol you dont see that many 96+ with a 94 conversion lmao. makes mines more limiteder lmao.

but yeah, its automatic, and i still have the 25th anniversary badges and floormats. wish it was stick tho

looks new on the outside.

Im happy with my purchase, it was completely stock, but a few things on the car were broken or cut that pissed me off a bit. oh well, i wouldn't be where i am today without that car.

i dont think the car was wrecked, i think it just had to get the front bumper replaced from hitting someone or something.

hot wheels wheels of course and yes man i was pretty Spoild as you guys call it....on a more serious note...yes my mom bought my first car if you wanna give some one h*** give it to me it was a nice 93 toyota camry..unfortunatly i wreaked it..o and by the way i too took great pride in my camry so get over just cuz i didnt buy doesnt mean i cant take great pride in something that was given to me..i now have a celi after working my a$$ off...you go try 40 out of 60 days of your summer working ten hours a day to get car..im talking roofing and insulating under houses,cleanig burned down houses thats crazy stuff and very tiring..and i do not want my kid doing that to get a nice car so flame me all you want..becuase i will also buy my kids their first cars and i refuse to put them in S### mobiles so yes i will buy them nice safe cars...so if you had to work for your first car im sorry but dont tell other kids to beshamful for not buying there first car.im sure if somone offered you a car at 16 you would have gladly accepted it so shut up on the kids...and my kid better have very much respect and pride for his car or i wont be to happy with them.

o i bet im not the only one who didnt buy their first car...i know there are some of you whos parents helped or bought your car and you just dont want to step up and addmit it becuase your to worried about what people think.
