Couple of minor things I need help with:

First off, I was finishing the gauge install last night, and the 1/8 adapters I bought to Tee the oil pressure sensor did NOT fit in the block. It's just ever so slightly larger than the oil pressure sending unit on the GTE (the threads that is). Does anyone know the SPECIFIC size of the threads/adapter on the sending unit. I'm planning on hitting Lowes or Home Depot later today for the adapters (brass air/plumbing adapters).

Second, is it possible to have a very tiny boost leak that would cause the idle to suddenly be in the ~500 range (and rather bumpy) without having a pronounced affect on how the vehicle runs otherwise?? My idle just started staying at a semi-unstable 500ish RPM instead of the normal rock solid 700 RPM. The ONLY thing I messed with last night was the gauges, but I did have the ECM unplugged and tapped the switched 12v wire on the 22pin connector for the switched source for the Nexus gauge control module.

The SMT6 wouldn't have dumped because I disconnected the battery would it? That just occured to me.

I will say this: The Autometer Nexus gauges are cool. The only one I've got working is the Boost/Vac, but it's extremely quick to respond and from what I can tell very accurate.

You need to buy a tee fitting from tuner toys. Autometer is standard and Toyota is Metric of course. This is why the sensor doesnt screw right in. Just make sure your sensor is 1/8. You will not be able ot buy this from Home
Depo

here is the link Tunertoys

Yeah, just found that they're a BSP......no wonder my 1/8NPT didn't fit. Summit has a 1/8BSP to 1/8NPT adapter, and I already know the stock sending unit will screw in fine into my adapter I already have, so I'm thinking of just going that route. I'm half tempted to just do the GReddy oil filter adapter instead because after browsing the MR2OC, I've found that aparrently after a while the brass fittings have broken off in the head from the weight of 2 senders on them.

This fitting from Tunertoys is very strong, its not made from brass. You shouldnt have a problem with it.

Do you have both sensors mounted to it or do you have the gauge sender remote mounted?

i've had the heavy autometer sender, and the stock sender attached directly to the tuner toys adapter (its steel BTW) along with the feed line for my turbo, for over a year now.

i dont know how big your sender is for your gauge, but if its anything like the blitz one, i wouldnt be worried about it at all.
heres a pic of the blitz pressure sender for refrence.

Roger. I ordered one this morning. Hopefully it will be here soon because I feel kind of silly having three gauges with only one working.

if you want something quick... most pepboys, autozone,etc... stock the metric adaptors from sunpro. thats what i ended up using and i havent had it fail yet after 2 yrs of use. but to be extra safe, it would be better to get the one manny posted.

how big is the sender? i know the normal autometer one is HUGE. i would guess its a different one for their nexus line.

It's tiny, in fact, it's about the same size as the stock pressure switch.

Yeah, it's small. But the problem is that a standard 1/8" NPT won't fit in the block. I ended up pulling the first two threads out of the block last night when trying to fit the adapter. Rather than try to screw it up more, I'll just wait for the BSP adapter from the link above to come in.
