right now, i love love love, Sigur Ros(donno if i spelt that right). Very abstract music, but very good.

and also, I love HORSE the band. Yes they are called "HORSE the band". They play..nintendo core. Its a mix of hardcore punk, and nintendo music. Dont ask, just listen. Below is a link to ta video of theirs called Birdo. Its interesting, but these guys are awsome live.

I'll listen to anything...with the exception of excessive country or rap, just can't get into it like a good rock song.

What I listened to in the past 10 minutes:
Cartel, Aphex Twin, Straylight Run, Metallica, and Swollen Members.

Lacuna is awsome..have all of their albums..again. If you like them, check out Nightwish and Within Temptaion. Very similar, but more operatic.

Aphex tiwn...sooo trippy, but good. Come to Daddy = craziest song ever. And Swollen members are good too. They are like a house hold name up here though.

i think the idea of the thread is to recomend something odd/different for people to check out, not just list 50 bands you like.

um... are you mental or something? all i was trying to say is that you listed like 50-100 random bands, instead of recomending a few to check out like everyone else was doing. if you have penis envy about me or my car or god knows what, then thats not my problem.

I've always liked techno, alternative rock, stuff like that. Lately I've been listening to a LOT of reggeaton (Daddy Yankee...?)

When I moved to the island, I got stuck on a type of local music called "Soca," absolutely awesome for shaking the booty if you got the right crowd, lol...

If you wanna find a couple of songs to see if you like it, search for "Hot N Groovy" "Tiger Baby" or "Wine and Bend Over"...I don't have the artists with me right now, but I'm sure you'll find something...
