just as the title says, can any vert or coupe owner and tell me how to access the rear strut tower?

the easiest way i have found with a convertible is to go into your back seat, take off that tarp in between your back seat and the edge of the top, and then the towers are right there. Fairly easy to get a wrench in there. Hope this helps.
