so i've got myself caught up with Zeppelin, and "old people music", in general... Options

Lately i've been enjoying some of the old school rock, and although i've never really enjoyed much rock, (way to formulated and ehhh for so damn long it seems... too much like hardcore pop to me...), I've way gotten into Led Zeppelin I really love driving in the celi with it, and it defenitly makes me think of back when people were way more apt to be "free", so to speak... I guess i'm way too much a music geek too much, lol. I've found I listen to more music before my time moreso than I do music that i've grown up with... anybody else fit the same bill?

i really got into the doors , pink floyd, ccr(who i'm going to see soon ), and led zeppelin last year fav zeppelin song "babe i'm gonna leave you" gives me goosebumps sometimes when i'm listening to it

i don't know why but most of the music through the 80's sucked pretty bad to me... most of the music i listen to that is current is def. not mainstream rock and i doubt anyone could/would call it pop-like however one band from the early 90's that is real good music to drive to to me would be the smashing pumpkins

Agreed about most of the 80's music... I actually grew up listening to oldies and disco type music (thanks to my dad). Although now I throughly enjoy the oldies...
