I'm sure everyone on here knows I'm old and crotchity.
Basicly I read a thread in OT about a ticket, yada yada yada..

If you have adorned your ride with these, please do not let your actions
give the site a bad name. You are a representitive of the site, and what
you do can and will effect other people. I have been in situations where
I got a little angry at my fellow motorist, it's easy to do. I try to think of
it as driving a company car with the name on the side. Thats all I'm
done preaching, in this thread at least.

Who said anything about making you remove your sticker? Did you just come up with that out of nowhere? All he's saying is don't make an ass of yourself on the road.

I have the stickers... lol

I believe I'm settin a good example cuz I dont drive crazily... (cuttin people off, lane traveling quickly throughout traffic etc.)

I speed every now and then... Like 10 over. But thanks to cruise control, I'm just keepin it set so there's no way I could speed... and I'm a little lazy to push the pedal down on my own lol

I had the stickers on my celi before I sold it and I drove like a complete ass. I made sure to point at my sticker every time I cut someone off. I never drive under 100 mph either.

^^^LMAO!

...If anyone is ignorant enough to see one 6gc driver acting like an idiot and/or getting a ticket and stereotype all other 6gc'ers to be a$$holes and inconsiderate drivers than they don't need to be driving anyways. They'd need to worry about growing up first.

where do you get the stickers from, might sound a bit thick but i can't
find them on the site anymore.

i'm having a kit fitted as we speak biggrin.gif and think a sticker would look good
on the ends of the skirts

I think he is just watching out for 6GC.net. Reputation of 6GC is something that I'm sure people take pride in being part of. I haven't been in 6GC for that long, however if I were to have the 6GC sticker on my celi, I would not want someone looking at my car and the sticker and think that 6GC is full of erratic asshole drivers.

I dont think this post was made to point anyone out in particular, as much as to provide outlook over 6GC itself to keep a positive reputation throughout all drivers.

Correct me if i'm wrong.... Dont take this post seriously enough as to critique any specific driver, just remember that when you have the sticker on your car, you're representing 6GC.

It's common sense. Ty.

colleges have nothing to do with cars. the stickers do promote this site. so don't give people the idea that this site is full of irresponsible and reckless members. people are judgemental like that.

Im in college, and my fraternity letters are on the back of my car... i have to be especially careful to drive nice and easy, no cutting people off or appearing rude. Never know what sorority girl or alumni might be in the car...I know this is different, buts its kinda the same principle. I dont think its something to worry about though if its a website. Most people wont pay attention to something like that, or go through so much trouble as to associate all of this site and the asshole driver.

you guys are all taking this way too seriously. Most people don't know what "6gc" even stands for. Besides if you're speeding no one will be able to read your sticker.

I think you guys are taking this too seriously. It's not like 6gc.net is a racing team where as we mess up and other racers look at us and messed up. This is basically a FAN site with alot of information on the 6th Generation Celica. Nothing more. Putting a sticker on your car means we all go here to get our parts and info. That is my first impression on stickers.
