...OKAY so now htat im hearing this stuff about a accord intake fittign a celica.....i know of the injen one, and hte weapon-r one.......are there any others i should know about??? because i still need to get one for my car......reccomendations? suggestions? opinions? thoughts?

i have the arospeed front mount intake... i dont think they make it anymore but i know there are people sellin em... i got mine off of ebay... i could feel the difference in power... and its not loud, but if u step on it, it can be.

On my old car, i once used a civic intake......hahaha, when i bought the guy wouldnt sell it to me at first cause it wasnt fo rmy car, but it fit perfectly, and all i had to do was add a heat sheild, and mov ethe battery alittte...this was on a 3sfe and a 3sge BTW......

any civic short ram will fit if you trim it down a little.

I had the same questions a little over a year ago and just decided to make my own CAI. The only intakes I could find were short air intakes and they were going for $150+. I bought everything I needed for around 100 bucks. Yes it took a few hours to complete, but it's better than any short air intake that I could have purchased. I also liked the fact that I could buy whatever color filter/hose/adapters I wanted.

I completely agree airfron. I lvoe doing it yourself, espesially whne you have the money to spend to fix anything you might hurt or break or anything. Its a lot of fun, and you learn a lot about your car when you start ripping stuff apart and seeing what you can do for cheap. I am still not 100% convinced that the RAI i made was a bad idea, I think it just needs to be revised... I will work on this more in the spring time, for now its exhaust for me.
