any civic short ram will fit if you trim it down a little.

I had the same questions a little over a year ago and just decided to make my own CAI. The only intakes I could find were short air intakes and they were going for $150+. I bought everything I needed for around 100 bucks. Yes it took a few hours to complete, but it's better than any short air intake that I could have purchased. I also liked the fact that I could buy whatever color filter/hose/adapters I wanted.

interfooler FTW

i built mine out of coffee stirrers and duct tape......

it depends on how much you want to spend and/or the gains you want, which will be practically nothing with either a short ram or CAI. with a short ram you'd see the same gain from a high flow OEM replacment like K&N or a TRD one from the Stickies

the cheapest way to do it is build it yourself smile.gif

I completely agree airfron. I lvoe doing it yourself, espesially whne you have the money to spend to fix anything you might hurt or break or anything. Its a lot of fun, and you learn a lot about your car when you start ripping stuff apart and seeing what you can do for cheap. I am still not 100% convinced that the RAI i made was a bad idea, I think it just needs to be revised... I will work on this more in the spring time, for now its exhaust for me.
