I found this the other day. I am thinking about buying it. You think it would make a good daily driver?

you are bidding on a 87 celica gt with a st205 group a 3sgte. ss autochrome downpipe, walbro 255 lph pump, fmic, turboxs bov, tons of ****!!!! almost done with the swap, everything except one brace is there, all you need is an efi resistor ( 10 bucks ) the front brace from a st185 celica, and a few wires ( they are all labeled the engine has less than 20k on it it came out of a 1998 st205 rally car from japan, i have spent over 7k on this swap and am now getting a settlement taken care of and want to sell this car and pay off my credit card(s) haha. what i am asking for this WHOLE package is about what i paid to get the engine built alone i just want to get the f*ck rid of it. no big hang ups left, just sick of working on it. you have about a good six hours of wiring to do and thats about it in all honesty... nothing huge missing, here is the list of all you get, i might leave some things out, i forgot what all i bought ( obviously has motor harness and ecu )

st205 wrc group-a 3sgte $2500
eagle rods $free but expensive
stillen fmic intercooler $400 plus a few more for piping
walbro 255lph pump ( in box in car, havent installed yet ) $190

1987 st161 celica gt, clean interior, body damage, but not too bad, no frame work or anything needed, about a 6' spot of missing paint behind passenger tire. think of the value in parts alone you are getting... the car itself is worth 1200, not to mention everything else. you get EVERYTING for 3000 or trade me for something? bike, another car whatever. offer me something!!!!

daily driver??? u would daily drive an alltrac?

lol it would be a good DD but u would put alot of mileage on it and decrease the value or unless u dont care and just want a cool DD and are not planning 2 sell it in the future.

It's not an all trac, its the only a gt with a 3s swapped in it.
As for a good daily drivei don't know about good, but it will definately be fun drive to work!!! The only thing is the wiring, if you know how to do it go ahead, but i don't know sounds too good to be true.

A daily driver is something you can drive EVERYDAY. A swapped 20 year old car that isn't gonna get very good gas mileage... hmm... I dunno about you... but I'd hardly call that a daily driver.

And to answer your question, no, I don't think this would make a good daily driver. It doesn't even run, and if it really was only six hours worth of work, don't you think he'd put in those six hours so he could at least sell a running car since he's already come this far?

Yeah, I realize it isn't a "Daily Driver", I was being sarcastic. Nah I'm not going to buy it, I just wanted to post it up.
