im hooking up my oil pressure gauge and im wondering where is is a good place to run the pressure line through the engine bay into the car for my a pillar??

I ran mine next to the gas pedal. There is just enough space to get it though there. My cruise control is close to it too. It might not be the best, but it works. Unless you want to cut a new hole, it's the only thing you got. Wait, I did cut that hole. And I still put it in not the most ideal spot. I think my dad and I searched forever untill we decided to just drill a new hole. Make sure it's in a good spot.

electric or mechanical ?

you can either drill a hole in the firewall or run the tube/wire through the rubber boot that the steering column goes through behind the pedals. That seems to be the easiest way to get through on that side IMO.

yep. This is the exat way that i ran mine also. Works great and you dont have to drill.
