Hi, does anyone know which of these wires (from the ignition barrel) are the two Starter wires that go to the starter motor solenoid? I think one is the BLACK/WHITE one, but which is the other one?
![]() Also, the wires to the Cigarette lighter: Which are the power wires to the lighter? ![]() If anyone can confirm these: the Connector Numbers for top picture: 1- Black/White = Starter??? 2- Black/Red = ? 3- Black/Orange = Power? 4- Blue/Red = Power? 5- Grey = ? 6- empty 7- White = ? 8- empty Apologies for my complete electrical n00biness This post has been edited by manphibian: Oct 13, 2006 - 6:00 AM -------------------- |

Don't have a print with me right now so I can't help with the starter but the lighter power is the 2 plugs with one wire in each(not the green/white wires). Power is the wire going to the center point.

Thanks for that The other bit i'm confused about is: My starter button instructions say i have two wires to connect to the two wires that go to the starter motor solenoid. Now it seems on the car there is ONE starter wire (white/black) and TWO ignition wires (black/orange and blue/red) Do i need to connect the start button to the two ignition wires? And then i need to connect two other wires to the power wires that go to the cigarette lighter. man i'm confused easily This post has been edited by manphibian: Oct 13, 2006 - 7:21 AM -------------------- |

Install the switch between Black-Red and Black-White. Turn the key to ON and push the button and it will start.
