really wanted something SUV like along the lines of a Jeep wrangler or an older Ford Bronco.

However, I have been given the deal of a lifetime on a 00 pontiac Grand Prix GTP with 89k miles -->$7k

I dunno what to do. I'll likely get the GTP.

Not trying to rain on you parade or anything, but isnt that kinda what most good shape GTP's go for? Up here I did a search on autotrader found quite a few under 8 grand, the best one apparently being a 2004 GTP with 74,000 for $6995...

go for the gtp if you like fast large boats, im sorry, but GM took a decent motor and ruined it by not mating a manual transmission to it
