ok um i was just wondering.. when test fitting... did you have to remove anything to get the pillar to fit?
cause i just quickly tried it to see if it fit but it was WWWAAAYYY off... seemed impossible to put in unless i removed a-pillar and mounted it first... also... none of my 52mm gauges fit??? i guess i gotta sand a bit off from each hole... but then how do you get them into the 2nd and 3rd spot? cause mine are about 57mm deep and when i try to put it in... the holder above it is in the way... -------------------- |

it must b legit since i bought it from gaugepods.com...
but here's a pic of what i mean when i say the gauge holder above it gets in the way for the 2nd and 3rd positions: ![]() this is how it's supposed to look right: ![]() cause it seems like i can't put it on without either removing the top of the dashboard or the a-pillar This post has been edited by elvasoshexai: Oct 26, 2006 - 9:38 PM -------------------- |

gaugepods.com? No, real lotek come from the actual site. That one might be real lotek but i really dont know and it would be hard to find out. As for the gauges, you put them in the pillar pod before you mount the pillar. Run the wires down behind the dash before you totally screw in the pillar so that you make sure that you dont cut into or pinch any wires. Now to mount the pillar, you just have to wiggle it in there and make it fit

i have a lotec triple gauge pod and that my freind is not one..unless that cutting was done by you? if it is a lotec you might have to slide the bottem in between the dash and the a pillar ang wiggle it a bit to make it fit.

yea mine is having the same problem it dosen't look like it will fit unless you cut the orginal pillar. but my gauge size is 2 1/16. i also got my from gaugepods.com and it looks the same as yours.
BTW: does anyone know if the glowshift gauges are good from ebay? This post has been edited by pandakid: Oct 27, 2006 - 1:29 AM -------------------- |

yea that's not the right pod.. you can tell right away from the protrudin plastic at the end. but yea.. we had to dremel alil for my 60mm gauges to fit too although the pods are meant for 60mm gauges but that's cause my gauges are huge

i just got my replacement gauge pod today... but fitment still sux in the test fit... =/
the top part where there is that curve... is too long... so i guess i'll needa shave it... unless i didn't push it far enough at the bottom since there was a small gap but now i got a question... my gauges are about 57 deep... how the hell do you get them INTO the holes??? cause they keep hitting the side of the above holder when trying to push it in -------------------- |

I also had to widen the hole a bit with a dremel. With a set of autometer gauges, they fit perfectly, no fuss, no problems. -------------------- |

I cut into the stock a pilar plastic (kinda knotched it) so the gauges would slide in deeper. The back of the gauge hit so since the lotec covers the stock pillar, I had to cut it a bit, you dig ?
